Emergency battery ballasts allow a fluorescent
fixture to be used during both normal and
emergency operation. In the event of a power
failure, the emergency battery ballast operates
the fixture, powering the lamp (at reduced
output) for a minimum of 90 minutes from the
built-in backup battery .The emergency ballast
will sense AC power failure and automatically
switch to Emergency Mode. When AC power is
restored, it will switch the system back to the
normal mode and resume battery charging.
