Pi Sigma/Delta pressure sensor range
Introduction
This range of professional pressure sensors are suitable for measuring various fluid pressures. The range covers pressure measurement from 80 to 2400 psi and has two types of
pressure sensor: Vented gauge and Sealed gauge.

Vented gauge (g) pressure sensors measure pressure with the reference side
of the sensing element open to atmosphere.
Sealed gauge (sg) pressure sensors measure pressure with reference to
atmospheric pressure that is sealed in the unit.
The 0–80 psi g and 0–160 psi g sensors are suitable for fuel or oil pressure measurement.
The 0–2400 psi sg sensor can be used to measure hydraulic pressure in actuator and
brake fluid circuits.
Each sensor is constructed from stainless steel and fitted with a 150mm (6.0” nominal)
loom terminated in an AS Micro Lite HE connector.
Installation notes
When installing a pressure sensor:

make sure that the sensor will not be affected by heat soak;
make sure that air can flow over the sensor to keep it below 80°C;
try not to place the sensor near sources of electrical interference
i.e. ignition coils, plug leads, ECMs, alternators and telemetry antenna;
on 80 psi g and 160 psi g versions, do not block the vent filter opening with
tape;
on 80 psi g and 160 psi g versions, do not pressure wash or immerse the vent
filter opening.
Conversion factors
To convert pressure in psi to pressure in KPa, multiply psi value by 6.895.
To convert pressure in psi to pressure in bar, multiply psi value by 0.0689.
