Summary
The purpose of this position, under the direction of the Technical Director and
Video Director is to assist in the video requirements of the weekend experience.

Assist Video Director with video-related tasks
Review service footage with TD or Video Director for training purposes
Details
Operate video switcher
•
Following the direction of the video director, switch between cameras and
computer sources
•
Operate the Panasonic MX-70 video switcher and other rack mounted
switchers
•
Maintain attention throughout the service
Assist Video Director with video-related tasks
• Direct camera operators when the Video Director is preforming other
tasks
• Ensure the start of all recording devices during the song before the
message
• On Sundays, ensure that the DoRiMe is cued quickly and correctly for
playback in Stage 123
Review service footage with Video Director for training purposes

When possible, after a service, review the footage with Video Director to
improve timing and transitions of switches

Authentic and consistent in his/her own spiritual walk and relationships
A desire to learn and develop techniques for switching, directing,
composition, framing, movement and transitions of live video production
Ability to follow verbal instructions and stay focused during the service
Time Requirements

4:30-8:30 PM Thursday
7:00 AM-12:30 PM Sunday
Video switchers may serve two weeks per month, depending on their
availability, desire and schedule
Physical Demands:
The Video Switcher must possess mobility to work in a stage environment. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include vision to read printed material and a computer
screen, video monitor vision, color vision and depth perception; hearing and speech to
communicate in person. The Video Switcher must also frequently use hands to handle
or feel objects, controls. The Video Switcher must possess mobility to walk up and down
a ladder or stairs.
