FINANCE OPTION
School of Business
The finance option of the business degree is designed to provide
students with a broad basis in general business topics with an
emphasis on finance theory and application.
Career Opportunities
The field of finance addresses how individuals and business institutions allocate and use resources over time while considering the
risks associated with their projects. Finance is used by individuals,
governments, businesses and nonprofit organizations. Careers in
commercial banking, real estate financial planning and insurance
are examples of career paths one can take after studying finance.

This curriculum is designed to prepare students to:

• demonstrate proficiency with the core principles of financial
theory and practice
