Windows 7 -- Accessing the cps_hs_fac wireless network.

1) You must first create a Wireless Network Profile before connecting to the cps_hs_fac network.

a) Go to the Start Menu b) Choose Control Panel c)Click Network and Internet and then click on "View network status and tasks" d) Choose "Setup a new connection or network" then click "Manually connect to a wireless network…" e) Type in the network name "cps_hs_fac", Choose WPA2 Enterprise and AES, then click next.

f) Click the Change connection settings link.

g) The "Connection" settings on the next screen are OK, click on the "Security" tab to access the settings that need to be set.

Click the Setting button to the right of where it says "Microsoft:Protected EAP (PEAP) h) On this screen, click the box next to Validate server certificate, so that there is no check mark left in it and it matches the image.

i) Click the "Configure …" button next to the Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) heading. In the window that comes up, click the the box next to "Automatically use my Windows login and password (and domain if any)" text, so that there is no check mark inside the square and the dialogue matches the image. Click Ok close the window.

2) Click OK, OK, Close on the windows. You can then click the Red X to close out the window completely. Windows will pop a warning at the lower right hand corner of your screen asking for more information. Click on the warning, provide your network credentials ( the same that you use to log into the network and access e-mail on the website), click OK and you should be all set.
