Rincon Street Corona, A 92880 +1.951.278.4563 Sales@Teklam.com beaerospace.com POCKET ABOUT US Established in 1990, TEKLAM, a B/E Aerospace company, is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of advanced laminated honeycomb panels. With over two decades of experience, our superior quality products are designed for aerospace and commercial applications where a high strength to weight ratio is critical. Our lightweight structural materials are produced to the most stringent requirements. TEKLAM honeycomb panels are designed for optimal performance in their specific applications. Utilizing materials including Carbon Fiber, Kevlar®, Fiberglass, Nomex® and aerospace aluminum alloys, TEKLAM provides unique and innovative solutions to satisfy the most demanding requirements. Through both Multiple Opening Presses (MOP) and vacuum processing we are capable of producing panels of a wide range of shapes, sizes and performance characteristics. In 2011, TEKLAM was acquired by B/E Aerospace and shortly thereafter moved into a new 93,000 square foot production facility in Corona, California. Our site maintains ISO9001 / AS9100 certification. PRODUCTS & CAPABILITIES PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION ENGINEERING SERVICES From concept design through qualification, first article inspection and production, our engineers are with you every step of the way. We frequently work with customers to evaluate the properties of the materials used in existing designs so that we can propose alternatives that reduce weight, increase strength and/or reduce cost. Through precise material selection and process variation, our application engineers take pride in making sure that the panel selected for your design is optimal. Whether you are looking for opportunities to reduce weight on an existing application or are working on a new design with demanding requirements, our engineers are available to assist in any way they can. Our established relationships with a wide variety of material suppliers help ensure that the panel materials are ideally suited for your unique application. Our R&D laboratory is equipped with two small scale lab presses and a full range of mechanical testing equipment. Product innovation in composite technology forms the cornerstone of our value proposition. LAMINATED HONEYCOMB PANELS – FLAT PANELS AND CURVED SHAPES B/E-TEKLAM’s standard aerospace product line includes over 30 floor and interior panels with FAA approved test data available. Beyond these standard products, our R&D engineers are continually working to develop new, innovative designs for the most demanding applications. Standard panel thicknesses are held to an industry leading +/- 0.010 inch tolerance and are designed for durability that is superior to comparable products. In addition to our line of flat panels, our oven cure vacuum bagging process enables us to produce shapes consisting of complex curves. EMBEDDED PANELS Many of our advanced, space saving panel designs include components embedded within the panel itself. Hinges, hard points, latches and electrical conduits are only a few common embedded items. Proprietary processes ensure that embedded components maintain their precise location throughout the layup and press process. VALUE ADDED SERVICES B/E-TEKLAM’s Value Added Services enable the delivery of finished parts or parts kits which are packaged and delivered ready for assembly. These services include the following: • CNC routing • Edge closeouts and edge fill • Insert installation • Cut and fold Applications B/E-TEKLAM’s extensive product family of laminated honeycomb panels are designed for optimal performance in their specific applications in: • Aerospace Interiors • Spacecraft • Commercial (Marine, Rail, Automotive) Within the Aerospace interiors sector, B/E-TEKLAM has been developing and delivering high end products to the following customer segments for 25 years: • OEMs • MROs • VIP • BizJet 350 W.
