Optics
The various highly efficient optics available provide multiple
light beam patterns, from narrow to very wide.
Luminaire & ballast are supplied and tested by GE, ensuring
the best possible product quality. GE lamps can be ordered
separately.
Optical assembly sealed providing IP66, comprising:
Application: for lighting of sports tracks, open-air car parks,
building facades, railway platforms, storage areas, motorway
junctions, etc.
Structures and materials
Housing: in two parts (housing and door) in die-cast aluminium,
electrostatically sprayed with a polyester powder paint finish,
and oven cured at 180ºC.
Bracket: hot deep galvanized sprayed with a polyester
powder paint finish and oven cured at 180ºC.
Standard colour: RAL 9011 black.
Access door: hinged, detachable.
Electrical and gear compartment
Gear tray: electrical unit fitted to removable tray. With
a protection degree IP66. For Mercury Vapor (MV), HPS and
Metal Halide (MH) lamps up to 750W.
A bi-power system can be fitted to the MV or HPS lamps
up to 400W.
Mounting: receptacle with PG-13.5 cable gland. Optional
fitting of second cable gland.
Insulation: Class I.
• Flat tempered glass lens sealed with silicone to the door.
• Faceted or smooth aluminium reflectors (four types) for
different photometric distributions.
• Extruded EPDM gasket between housing and door.
Maintenance
Front access to lamp and control gear.
Screw opening of luminaire. Optional tool-less opening.
Installation
Mounting by way of heavy-gauge steel bracket with aiming
degree indicator.
Aiming by way of integrated sight.
Accessories/options
• Optional tool-less opening by means of stainless
steel latches (R).
• The floodlight may incorporate a fuse. FUS option.
• Accessories for glare control visors and louvres,
polycarbonate vandal shields, wire guards, etc.
