Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) is an
easy-to-use, non-invasive and reproducible
technique to evaluate body composition
and nutritional status.
The latest BIA analyzer ioi353, combines superior function with compact size.
Based on the Tetra Polar multi-frequency (550-250 kHz) method to achieve greatest accuracy, ioi353 technology allows full assessment of the nutrition status of the patient. It
supports the risk evaluation of development
of obesity related medical conditions or the
identification of malnutrition in patients.
ioi353 enables to measure several nutritionally relevant bodily compartments such as
lean and soft body mass, body fat, total body
water. It measures also visceral fat in order
to assess abdominal fatness.
Segmental analysis of soft lean mass and
mass of body fat is also available on 5 body
parts (right arm, right leg, left arm, left leg
and trunk).
ioi353 measurements are clearly presented
through easy-to-read reports (both in A4
format or on thermal printer), where are
also showed goals to control for weight,
mass of body fat and soft lean mass based
on body composition analysis results.
Mobile friendly, it can be located everywhere thanks to the foldable body part and
its ultra-light weight (10 kgs).
