unique safety concept converts individual units into independent emergency lights when failure occurs in normal power supply. If voltage
drops to 70% of normal, one or more lamps in fixture will continue to
provide emergency light at a reduced output minimum illumination at
1 footcandle (FC) on the floor, for over 90 minutes. A safe level of emergency illumination can always be maintained in stairwells, hallways,

circuitry that eliminates mechanical relays that are subject to deterioration and malfunctions. Damage due to over-discharge is automatically disconnected when battery reaches the end of its useful capacity.
Emergency unit is factory sealed and maintenance-free.
Now, reliable emergency lighting can be be incorporated into clean
architectural design without the need for obtrusive, bulky “standby”
units which are more likely to be vandalized. Individual fixtures function
as independent units whether the outage is area wide or restricted to
building or specific circuits.
Batteries are charger/switch systems and are guaranteed for five years
on a pro rata basis.
Available input voltage: 120, 208, 220, 240, 265 or 277V, 60 Hz.
Specify specific input voltage when ordering.
Note; Each group of EMERGENCY UNITS on the same AC circuit
must have a test switch and derangement lamp installed in the fixture.
Special wiring instructions are available for remote installations.
ORDERING INFORMATION: To order EMERGENCY UNITS, specify
“EM” in the number of fixtures required to provide safe level of emergency illumination.
NOTE: Not all “EM” packs will fit within the specified fixture. “EM”
packs might have to be installed on exterior top of the fixture or remote,
consult factory.
