LM79-08, UL approved &
IP67 sealed, newly available
LED Light Modules from the
JetRays Factory.
approval process since they
are now considered a Class
II Electrical device and therefore not subject to the more
rigid qualification processes
needed for a Class I Electrical device.
The new module interlocking
method recently introduced
literally allows a customer to
assemble as many modules
as they need to reach their
required illumination levels
into one unit up to 1000
Watts! We call them
“Dragonfly Light Blocks”.

In late May of 2009 the NC
DOT successfully installed
four custom LED fixtures in
some of their highway signs.
The project was a smashing
success as they compared the
28 Watt LEDs along side
250 Watt HPS and Metal
Halide bulbs and the 28Watt
LEDs were comparable!
That’s an astounding 89 %
energy savings. The project is
expected to continue for another 87 retro-fits. That wil
total a 19,314 Watt reduction when completed.

the NCDOT’s lighting bill by
two thirds.
