Mounting Systems GmbH has been one of the largest and most experienced
manufacturers of photovoltaic substructures for 20 years. The engineering
department in Rangsdorf is hard at work to continuously develop and optimise our fastening systems even further. That means that Mounting Systems
can always respond directly to new customer requirements. The comprehensive
product offering includes fastening systems and their components for PV and
solar thermal energy systems, as well as module frames.
And we make good use of our own technology as well: on the roof of our company headquarters. The PV system installed there has an output of 200 kWp and
generates over 180,000 kWh of solar power per year. That volume is approximately equal to the power consumption of 60 three-person households. After
all – we accept our corporate responsibility and support clean and sustainable
energy provision for coming generations. An additional focus for us is the future
of young people. As an official training company, we offer internships and
apprenticeships for future experts.

The Alpha is a universal system for the installation of solar panels on
pitched roofs. The use of aluminium base rails, the patented Quickstone and
telescoping technology makes custom cutting redundant and installation
exceptionally fast and convenient. This effect is further enhanced by

On-roof
With the Alpha+, photovoltaic modules can be easily mounted on pitched
roofs of varying types. The system with the new clickstone technology has
been specifically designed to reduce installation time. The optimized system is
simple: just click in, position, and fix. The clickstone is smart and easy to use
thanks to its symmetrical appearance. The newly designed rails are thinner
therefore reducing cost significantly and continue to provide stability.
All components of the Alpha+ are optimized and work harmoniously together.

Tau
The innovative trapezoidal solution
On-roof
The Tau is a flexible system for the parallel mounting of framed and unframed
modules on all current types of trapezoidal metal sheet roofs. Fast and easy
mounting is guaranteed due to the unique hook design of its fasteners. These
fasteners are easily fixed to the side of the standing seam. The lateral position
of the screws in the profiled sheet has a positive effect on the permitted
tearing levels. It allows for easy adjustment and levelling of minor height
deflections. For low standing seams we developed a fastener that can be
screwed directly into the top of the standing seam.

Tau+
The innovative trapezoidal solution with a plus
On-roof
The Tau+ with the new clickstone technology was especially developed for
an easy and quick installation for the parallel mounting on all current
types of trapezoidal metal sheet roofs. The system is highly adjustable
and all components were designed with the end user in mind. One of the
key advancements of the Tau+ is the newly developed short rail, which is
specifically designed for landscape installations. To speed up installation,
two screws are drilled through the base of the rail directly onto the corrugated
sheet. The specially designed module clamps featuring clickstone technology
ensure that modules are fixed securely.

Kappa
Aesthetics built in
In-roof
Kappa has been specifically designed for the complete integration of unframed
PV modules into the roof covering. The laminates replace the original roof
covering and form the water-bearing layer. The system is visually the most
pleasing method of fastening modules onto pitched roofs and has sold
extremely well over the past 12 years. Kappa is 100% rain-proof and has been
tested and approved for the use in European climate conditions.

The Theta was developed for the integration of framed and unframed PV
modules into the roof skin. This visually attractive mounting system is
specifically designed for pitched roofs. The use of approved specialist roofing
materials ensures a rain-proof installation regardless of the existing roof
covering. In combination with the flexible Quickstone technology, the system
offers a maximum of reliability and ease of assembly. This system has been
tested and approved for the use in European climate conditions.

Flat roof wizardry
Flat roof
The Lambda roof system can be individually adapted to the customer's
requirements thanks to a variable tilt angle and several anchoring options,
such as ballasting or fixation with roof penetration. Module rows of up to
twelve metre length are possible for both portrait and landscape installation.
The Lambda takes advantage of using the same module fastening as the wellknown Alpha system. With the help of excellent support provided by our project
team, it can be adjusted to fit even difficult roof conditions.

Optimal performance and minimal ballasting: The Lambda Light is a flat roof
system without the need for roof penetrations. Aerodynamic testing was conducted to establish the best geometric shape to reduce ballast to a minimum.
The system is composed of several interconnected module rows in landscape
orientation. Please note that the larger the connected module area is,
the less ballast is required.

The specialist for uneven terrain

The Sigma I is a single pole ground-mount system, especially designed to reduce
cost. It is suitable for both laminates and framed modules. The use of ramming
posts and the parallel ground surface installation eliminates the need for
additional excavation work. It makes the Sigma I aesthetically pleasing and very
economical – ideal for large projects. Adjusted to the respective project,

The Sigma I XL cleverly combines the advantages of a single-pole system with
the weight and advanced rail technology from the popular Sigma II.
As a result, maintenance work has been further reduced with the same number
of ­modules. The system adapts easily to any terrain and space and the modules
can be installed either in portrait or in landscape. The installation costs are
extremely low due to the simple, functional design and the minimal number
of tools required.

The Sigma II provides the advantage that several rows of modules can be
arranged in vertical or horizontal position. Depending on project requirements,
the Sigma II is connected to the ground using ramming posts, screw foundations

The Omega was especially designed for application in difficult ground and soil
conditions, e.g. landfill or disposal areas. The modules can be arranged in any
number of rows and columns on the module table within an area of up to
45 m². Made of aluminum, the Omega is an extremely low-maintenance system

Secure planning in minutes
Simple, fast and paperless. The planning software provided by Mounting Systems
GmbH assists project developers in the professional design of a PV mounting
system in minutes and is available in five languages.
User-friendly navigation
Easy operation. The planner defines all relevant data for the system – to the
exact requirements of the customer. What must be factored in with regards to
wind and snow loads? That too, will be calculated by our planning software.
Also important: How many modules can maximally be installed per roof?
Maximising output is important. That information is supplied by the
Quick Configurator as well.
Realistic results in just a few clicks
Once all essential information has been entered, clearly structured and attractive 3D graphics will help you visualise the appearance of the system –
a helpful tool for your sales meeting. Please be advised that our software takes
20 country-specific standards into account, when providing static calculations.

Mounting Systems GmbH manufactures in Germany. Our products are fabricated in a fully integrated production line at our 17.000 m² facility, where we
guarantee the superior quality of all components of our mounting systems
and frames. We ensure the cost-efficient implementation of next-generation
technologies: fully automated rod processing centres, cutting, stamping and
cleaning systems. Computer-supported systems continuously monitor all our
systems. We place particular emphasis on the sustainable use of natural
resources: We use heat recovery systems and recycle all materials we use.
