High Power Density
D C P o w e r D i st r i b u t i o n C e n te r
Features
ƒƒ 200A per bus redundant A/B/C version
ƒƒ 300A per bus high ampacity (22 circuit versions)
Overview
ƒƒ High density DC distribution for rack mount servers and broadband applications such
as VOD, CMTS, VOIP. Allows high density distribution of DC capacity for point of use in
high circuit count server racks or for use in CSI PowerBay BDFB cabinets
ūūSingle input
ƒƒ19”/ 23” rack mount (3RU high): high breaker circuit count to support multiple servers
and their redundant power supply requirements and combined high current loads
ūūA/B isolated input
ƒƒ High power density and ampacity:
ƒƒ Configurable power routing options
ūūA/B input, C-source redundant diode routed
A/B redundant input version
ƒƒ 300A maximum load per bus
ƒƒ 11A and 11B circuit breaker positions
ūū 300 amperes per input: (single input, A/B input) high ampacity versions
ūū 200 amperes combined load: (A/B/C -source) low ampacity redundant version
ūū Accepts up to 22 plug-in bullet terminal circuit breakers for convenience
and flexibility
ƒƒ High output ampacity terminal
configuration per-breaker-channel
ƒƒ Small RU requirement leaves room for maximum network equipment space in
equipment racks
A/B redundant input, C bus output version
ƒƒTwo-hole lug high current bus bars for input and return terminations
(supports large AWG input cable feeders)
ƒƒ 200A maximum load
ƒƒ 22 circuit breaker positions
ƒƒ High output ampacity terminal
configuration per-breaker-channel
(up to 100A per channel maximum)
Single input version
ūū22 outputs with 300A maximum bus load
ūūHigh output ampacity terminal
configuration per-breaker-channel
(up to 100A per channel)
ūūUsed in CSI PowerBay BDFB cabinets
ƒƒ Alphanumeric LCD display for voltage, load current per bus, and breaker status
ƒƒ Bright, color-coded LED indicators for power input power status, breaker trip, and alarms
ƒƒ Form C alarm contacts for major and minor alarms
ƒƒ Single- or two-hole lug termination bus bar array for circuit breaker protected outputs
and returns (low ampacity)
ƒƒ A/B/C versions available with either setscrew barrier strip output terminals for low
ampacity per channel or high ampacity version with two-hole lug landing
ƒƒ Accepts bullet terminal circuit breakers available from CSI in numerous amperage
ratings (interchangeable breakers reduces spare parts inventory and cost)
ƒƒ Flip down front cover panel protects breakers from nuisance tripping
(convenient front access for breaker installation)
ƒƒ Plug-in breakers can be installed incrementally as needed to reduce install cost
ƒƒ Breakers can be changed in seconds to support equipment load and configuration
changes over time
ƒƒ Input/output clear plastic termination guard
