ELECTRONICS FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS Amplitude modulation The board allows the experimental study of AM modulation and demodulation techniques and the practising of the student with different circuit configurations of the most common modulators/demodulators. Technical features The board includes a carrier frequency generator, variable in amplitude and frequency, and a testing tone generator, variable in amplitude. The working frequency of the circuits of the board is between 500 and 1500 kHz. Power supply: + 15 Vdc, 300 mA. Because of the trainer’s particular construction and the low power involved, it can be used in full conformity with the current regulations against undue radiation. Technical features The board includes, besides several modulator and demodulator configurations, a testing tone generator and a high frequency noise generator to simplify the performance of the exercises.
