With a structural height of only ", TASK combines subtle aesthetics and a perfected design in a uniquely understated luminaire. The integrated converter centrally
located on the top of the luminaire and its lean aluminium profile support the ultraslim overall appearance of this suspended luminaire. Its balanced design concept
blends perfectly into any interior architecture, playing to its technological strengths.
The result is visually striking.
Best lumen output with optimal glare reduction
The best technology delivers the best results. With 118 lm/W, TASK owes its high
lumen output to the latest generation of high-efficiency LEDs. The LGP (Light Guiding Prism) redirects laterally coupled light upward and downward. The perforated
reflector creates optimal direct and indirect lighting. With the glare reduction prisms
in the specialized CDP cover, TASK is perfect for workstation lighting with low glare
rating of UGR < 19.
Compelling energy efficiency
Within its slim frame, TASK works with absolute energy efficiency. Cooling ribs positioned on the top of the unit ensure optimal thermal management and increase the
LEDs‘ service life. The LED output is further optimized by the reflector’s impressive
96% reflectivity. TASK also offers optional DALI dimming.

New microprismatic technology
TASK is an ideal light source for work environments. With its unique
microprismatic cover, the new TASK delivers brilliant, glare-free light
with an optimally low glare rating of UGR < 19. This means that the
previously used process of calcutating the luminance limit curve was
replaced with an internationally standardized calculation of the psychological direct glare, the UGR method. The UGR method relies on a
number of similar glare-rating methods that are based on systematic
evaluations of different blinding light sources and glare-ratings from
observation groups. The microprismatic cover is constructed accordingly and causes the exiting light to be optimally de-glared. This applies
to direct light in a frontal field of view as well as to backlighting and light
reflected by monitor surfaces (see charts on the left).

TASK is a workplace lighting system that strikes the eye through its
