All AET programs are applied engineering and technology-based with the majority of courses providing quality experiences in our state-of-the-art laboratories. What do we do? The AET department's primary purpose is to prepare advanced technology/engineering management graduates and contribute to the economic development of the region. Education Engineering Management The Engineering Management program is the AET Department’s response to an increasing need in the region for industrial personnel who are capable of solving engineering related problems that require a stronger mathematical and scientific background. Mgmt The MSET is designed to prepare to meet the requirements of industries, businesses and service organizations for competent applied engineering professionals who are capable of managing personnel, technical means and facilities in our complex and continuously changing industrial organizations. Industrial Education The Industrial Education degree is designed to prepare Engineering and Technology Education and Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers for public/private schools, and CTE programs in the state of Kentucky. • Occupation-based Career and Technical Education – Prepares Occupation-based Career and Technical Education Teachers • Engineering and Technology Education – Prepares teachers for KY school system. MS Career & Tech. Education The degree is structured to allow individuals to pursue career advancement in career and technical programs at the secondary and postsecondary level in teaching and administration, or to prepare technologists with advanced technical management skills who are capable of managing personnel training and facilities.
