1. COURSE NAME: Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (ADIT)
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to enable the student, who has knowledge of PC operations, to
get initiated into the domain of software development and to develop basic desktop and web based applications.
The Course seeks to take students from basic level of understanding to a comfortable working level of PCs.
Prerequisite: This course is a good one for students graduating from college with career goal in the ICT/IS/IT
related field. Additionally students with at least five CXC subjects including English, IT and Math or related subject
with strong interest in the IT/IS fields can qualify for this course.
2. COURSE NAME: Diploma in Database Technologies (DDT)
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in database
administration functions in Oracle 9i including installation, configuration, management and maintenance of
databases. At the end of this course the student will be able to independently manage a database server.
Prerequisite: This course is for students who want to or has begun work within the Oracle Database field.
Applicants should have college certificate in Database Management Systems (DBMS). A working knowledge of
Oracle will be an asset
3. COURSE NAME: Diploma in IT Project Management (DPM)
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in IT Project
Management. This course can be tailored to include content that will further prepare students to apply and
successfully complete PMP certification
Prerequisite: The minimum requirement s a college diploma. Applicants may also have an associate degree with
and or a bachelor’s degree with project management experience and thirty five (35) contact hours of formal
project management training. Applicants should be project managers and consultants involved in the design of IT
projects
4. COURSE NAME: Diploma in Linux (DIL)
Course Objective: The objective of the course is to enable the student to install, configure and administer Linux
(7.0 and above) servers; grant and restrict access to resources; install and maintain application software and
other related backend server operations.
Prerequisite: Applicants to this course must have at least a college diploma, with certificates in IT. Applicants
must also have a working knowledge of Operating Systems, and networks.
5. COURSE NAME: Advanced Certificate for C ++ Programming
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in C++ Programming.
After doing the course the student should be able to develop, design C++ with Data structure applications
effectively.

6. COURSE NAME: Diploma in JAVA Programming
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in Java Programming.
This includes both the Core Java and Advanced Java programming. After successful completion of the course,
the student should be able to develop, design and maintain web-based enterprise applications effectively.
Prerequisite: Applicants must have passes in at least five CXC subjects including English, IT and Math or related
subject. Applicants must also have working knowledge of computer programming languages
7. Courses Name: Diploma in Ms.Net Programming
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in MS.Net
Programming. After successful completion of the course the student should be able to develop, design and
maintain web-based enterprise applications effectively.
Prerequisite: Applicants must have passes in at least five CXC subjects including English, IT and Math or related
subject. Applicants must also have working knowledge of computer programming languages, specifically Visual
Basic
8. Course Name: Advanced Certificate Course in OOAD using UML
Course Objective: The course objective is to make the students familiar with all phases of Object-Oriented
Analysis and Design (OOAD), understand how UML supports the entire OOAD process, discover and learn how
to use the most fundamental OO Analysis Patterns and Design Patterns
Prerequisite: This course is for applicants desiring to become System Architects, System Designers, Developers
and Analyst/Programmers. Applicants must have at least 2 years experience, preferably in a modern objectoriented language. This course is advanced and does not cater for applicants who wants certification leading to
qualification
9. COURSE NAME: Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to enable the student to perform all operations on a standalone
computer independently, including – setting up the PC, installing and configuring scanners effectively, using MS
Office, Outlook, internet, email etc..

Prerequisite: Applicants to this course must have the basic entry level requirements (Five CXC including English,
IT, and Math or related subject) as well basic/minimal experience with PCs and working with Microsoft Office
Suite (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher)
10. Course Name: Advanced Certificate course in Window XP
Course Objective: The course aims at making existing desktop support personnel to XP desktop professionals.
Prerequisite: Applicants to this course must have the basic entry level requirements (Five CXC including English,
IT, and Math or related subject) as well basic/minimal experience working with Windows XP or previous Operating
Systems
11. Course Name: Advanced Certificate Course in MS SQL Server
Course Objective: The objective of this course is to provide the student with an expertise in database
administration functions in MS SQL including installation, configuration, management and maintenance of
databases. At the end of this course, the student will be able to independently manage a database server.
Prerequisite: Applicants to this course must be experienced IT professionals seeking to broaden their technical;
expertise with Microsoft server products, and to present themselves satisfactorily to employers and customers.
Applicants must have knowledge of Microsoft Access and networking.
