Using the right mouse button to correct spelling and find synonyms in Word
The right mouse button gives you some neat options in Word.
In the following sentence note that one of the words is underlined in red. This indicates
that it may be misspelled:
I left the lecturn crestfallen.
If you hold the mouse over the word lecturn and hit the right mouse button you will be
shown a list of correction options:
I left the lecturn
Click on the appropriate correction and the spelling will be changed:
I left the lectern crestfallen.
Looking for another word for crestfallen? Hold the mouse over the word and right click.
Arrow down to Synonyms.
crestfallen
A list of synonyms will appear.
Click on the desired option and it will replace the original word.
