M. Kressin CRN 84695 *This schedule is subject to change. *CPR assignments will be assigned at instructor’s discretion **All labs will be available from the Blackboard site for this course. Download current week’s experiment from Blackboard site two days in advance. Your printer being out of ink is NOT acceptable reason for you to not to be prepared for lab. Pre-lab and Procedures** DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF LAB!!! 1. Completed pre-lab questions, including any graphs (*pre-lab questions are the final page of each lab). 2. Typed outline of the procedures (brief outline or flow chart of the procedures for the lab or activity). LAB REPORTS, worth approx 15- 20 pts, are due at the beginning of the following lab period (one-week). Reports must include a staple AND a typed cover sheet or they will not be accepted. Reports are considered LATE 15 minutes after lab begins on due date: 15 min - 25% pt deduction, 1 week – 50% deduction, any later they will receive a ZERO grade! Three labs reports not turned in allows a maximum grade of D for the course. CONTENT & ORDER OF LAB REPORT: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Typed COVER SHEET (includes: Name, Partner, Section #, Instructor’s name, Lab Title, Lab Number, Date Performed) Typed Outline of the PROCEDURE (I will initial this in lab) Completed PRE-LAB questions Give complete answers, SHOW YOUR WORK, include any graphs (I will initial in lab) Completed DATA SHEETS (and graphs with equation for line and Correlation Coefficient, R, listed for straight lines) Completed POST-LAB questions SHOW YOUR WORK!! CALCULATIONS page* (You must show an example of each calc performed. Usually there is space provided. *A separate Calc’s page will not be required for most of the labs. Look at the end of procedure to see if a “Calculations” section is listed. If it is, then a calculations page is required.)
