Cores and Construction:
PT78 – Only used in Absolute Platinum and Transcend Platinum models.
Two hollow capped fiberglass rods run tip to tail. The encapsulated air is
light and stores energy for incredible snap. The rods are surrounded by a
super light density closed cell polyurethane foam. Both the top and bottom have two full sheets of uni-directional carbon, bi-directional glass wrap
around all the edges and the ABS insert strip runs the full length of the
board. Twill Texalium replaces a sheet of fiberglass on the Platinums for a
unique flex pattern. Transcend models feature Speedbase bottoms.

Xtrans – This foam is slightly denser than the PT78 closed cell
polyurethane foam. A uni-directional carbon strip is placed in the
insert area of the board for added strength and flex. Bi-directional
glass wraps all the edges and an ABS insert strip runs tip to tail.
PBT tops provide a deep gloss and even flex. Speedbase
bottoms are on all Transcend models.

Axis – This foam is denser than the Xtrans closed cell polyurethane foam. Uni-directional fiberglass and Matrix weave glass
wrap cover this foam. The full glass edge wrap makes all edges
strong and ABS insert strip runs the full length of the board. PBT
top material provides deep gloss and strength.
N-Core – This heavier density foam core makes the board sit lower in the
water. Being more neutrally buoyant assists beginners by keeping the board
deeper in the water. A Matrix glass wrap covers the top and bottom. Molded
inserts and PBT tops for a deep gloss finish and strength.

It just keeps getting better. The Absolute has been our
best selling deck for several years. This is due to constant improvement to the shape as well as the most
rider friendly high end design to ever grace your feet.
As with all our pro decks we not only rely on the team
to give input, ideas, feedback on performance and
shaping of the boards, but we also let the masses give
it a go. All the feedback is processed and changes are
made to fine tune the Absolute into the most optimum
board possible, which is why it remains our best seller.
This board will ride to your ability level. If you charge
the wake like Zane, hang on. If you want to learn your
first wake to wake, this is your board as well. For ’06
we designed long molded base fins creating a strong
hold all the way through the wake. A cupped rail allows the board to really bite and build speed into the
direction it is pointed. Not just any cupped rail, Zane
and our head engineer created vented rails that bite
the water at an angle at which the board bites. With
the added rocker for this year, these rails keep the
speed of this board rockin. It also has the thinnest tip and tail ever introduced into the wakeboard market. This trims the swing weight down to a minimal amount, as well as adding that
tip and tail snap off the wake caused by the extensive top shaping. The Absolute boasts the
biggest center spine in our entire line. The spine helps smooth out the landings way out there
in the flats. Another CWB Board Co first taken to the next level is the elevated and dished
boot deck. This year it is raised higher and dished deeper than ever. With our new boot line
the heel and toe response is second to none. A board that falls into place wherever you want
it, get on an Absolute and see what all the buzz is about.
The Platinum Absolute is made from the PT78 core, our lightest foam density, two hollow
fiberglass rods, a full sheet of uni-directional carbon top, bottom and a bi-directional glass

The ultimate wake to wake deck. Utilizing the deepest
and most centrally balanced rocker line in the industry,
the Transcend explodes off the top of the wake like no
other board on the market. Andrew Adkison focused a lot
of effort on creating a board that pops from its center of
gravity. New for ’06 we added a PBT Speedbase which
reduces drag – making the board faster. This ultra smooth
surface helps the board gain and hold speed into the
wake, enabling the board to offer the rider who enjoys the
hard edge landing well into the flats but still cater to the
wake to wake explosion for which it is known. Not only
will it take the rider working on the most techy maneuvers
to the next level, but will also deliver the intermediate
rider a progressive feel. The extensive top shaping at the
tip and tail creates a stiffer flex pattern in the middle of
the board where it counts. When loaded in a turn or at
the base of the wake, the tip and tail will snap back into
shape quickly thus throwing the board where it is pointed.
When riding flat the board offers a snowboard glide as
surface tricks are effortless. Utilizing a four fin design,
but taking it a step further and designing a fin mounting
platform and a fin that not only creates a channel of water

for grip, but is almost non-existent when riding flat. The bite you need to build speed
is there with a flick of your ankle. When you’re on a Transcend, you are on a wake to
wake killer that now for ’06 has hard edging potential. If you are looking for a board
with straight up buck, look no further.

The most innovative shape to hit wakeboarding… ever. Trevor is the kind of rider
that knows what he wants out of a board.
When Trevor and CWB’s head engineer
Doug Cannon sat down to brainstorm, they
both came to the same conclusion. They
wanted a shape that would ride like nothing
else out there, and would stand out on the shelf
in the overcrowded sea of pro boards. After 18
months of testing we deliver the Marius. This board
is by far the widest in the industry. To create a super
wide board that was fast and nimble was not an easy
task. What we developed is V-Tech technology. The tip
and tail of the board are shaped like a v-bottom boat. The
board rocker at the center point is 2” at the corner it is 3”.
This allows the board to roll from edge to edge extremely
fast. The variable rocker pattern means the Marius will build
and hold speed better than any board in our fleet. Having a
different rocker depth on the edge of the board than the center
allows for different snap characteristics off the wake. When you
take a hard edge into the wake the deeper rocker pattern will help
you scoop up and out. When you coast into the wake for more of
an ollie pop approach, the flatter rocker in the center will give you
more of a straight up slap utilizing the incredibly wide mid section.
When CWB innovated the center spine that is now used on almost
every board on the market, we never thought to use two. With such
a wide board, Trevor thought… why not? The result of the spines
and V-tech is the softest landing board ever shaped. They wanted
to create a board that looked and rode completely different. Trevor
and Doug did just that. Hop on a Marius and re-live that feeling of
your first carve.

For 2006 the Flame series is getting wet. Again we contacted
Killerpaint.com of Jesse James / Monster Garage fame who
is just down the street from the CWB factory. Mike Lavallee at
Killerpaint graced the top sheets of our Flame with his airbrush
expertise. The result is incredible. The mixture of the wet look
combined with the true fire is so real it makes you want to touch
it. To match the one of a kind graphics we have created a shape
that will deliver a one of a kind ride. Derived from an Absolute
mold of past, the Flame simply put is: a pro board at an intermediate price. The Flame is a fast board with a smooth ride, quick
turns, better edging control, a clean snap off the wake and huge
center spine that delivers butter landings. What more can you ask
for from your intermediate package? You are getting one of the

nutshell that is the Pure. In ’06 we give you a
choice between a deep, rich, glossy, jet black
version with a chrome stamp or a pearly silver
version with a chrome emblem. Based off the
Absolute shape and available with several different boot options, the Pure delivers an incredible
easy-to-progress ride. Check this deck out with
the new Torq boots, that will be enough to make
you think it is time for a new Pure package. A
charging rocker pattern, long base molded fins
and small rail fins, this board will lock and hold

Factor is the best of both worlds. Based off the very successful
Tattoo, the Factor is a shape that can give both the beginner a
great platform to hone their skills as well as the vet who wants to
