RACV Emergency Home Assist
RACV is a membership organisation so everything we do,
we do for the benefit of our members.
At RACV, we know that a home emergency can happen at any
time. If the toilet’s blocked, you’re locked out, or even if there’s
a gas leak, you’ll need a professional to pay a visit right away.
This begins with RACV’s unwavering commitment to deliver
a range of great value, high-quality products and services that
members can trust and depend upon.
In whatever situation they find themselves, our members
can rely on RACV to give them the security and peace of mind

doorstep within the hour.
There are no call-out fees, after hours or weekend rates and
the cost of labour and minor materials used during the service
call-out are included.

call away at any time of day or night, 7 days a week. As soon
as you call, we’ll organise to have one of our experienced

In fact, last year in over 90% of cases, we were on the

RACV Emergency Home Assist is available throughout metro
Melbourne, as well as most regional areas in Victoria^.
One annual fee and no charge for RACV to attend*
Home emergencies can be costly, especially if they happen
in the middle of the night, or on weekends.
But for less than most tradespeople charge for one callout, you will be covered for up to 8 call outs per year. One
low annual fee is all you’ll pay. There’s no charge for RACV
to attend. No call-out fees. No after hours or weekend
rates. Even the cost of labour and minor materials used
during the service call-out is included.
Fix or make safe
In almost 70% of cases, we’ll fix the problem on the spot.
But on those rare occasions when we can’t, we’ll make
temporary repairs to make sure that your home is safe
and secure, reducing the risk of further damage. If your
emergency requires specialised or more extensive repairs,
we’ll give you expert advice on what should be done next and
if you wish, we’ll happily arrange for a qualified tradesperson
to quote on doing the work for you.
With RACV Emergency Home Assist, you will have peace of
mind knowing your home is protected every day of the year.
