Ford Motor Company knows how important it is for you to keep your fleet on the road. If your vehicles
are maintained through in-house facilities, Ford offers the following fleet-specific technical training
courses on-site at your location.
6.0L Power Stroke® Diesel (2 Days)
6.4L Power Stroke® Diesel (2 Days)
6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel (2 Days)
Provides theory and operation of diesel systems
including high-pressure oil system, low- and highpressure fuel system and engine controls. Includes
drivability diagnosis using IDS and PC/ED diagnostic
routines.
Sedan and Utility Police Interceptors (2 Days)
Provides skills and knowledge to diagnosis and repair
Police Interceptors. Includes details on both Sedan
(Taurus) and Utility (Explorer) Platforms.
Anti-lock Brakes (1 Day)
Provides skills and knowledge to diagnose and
perform basic repairs on Ford vehicles equipped with
anti-lock brakes.
Electronic Auto Trans Diagnosis and Repair (1 Day)
Provides skills and knowledge to perform basic repairs
on vehicles equipped with electronic automatic
transmissions. Includes 4R75E, 5R55S, and TorqShift®.
Engine Performance (2 Days)
Provides skills and knowledge required to perform
engine performance diagnosis and repairs on Ford
vehicles. Includes OBD II monitors and related
strategies.
Electrical/Electronics Overview (2 Days)
Provides fundamental knowledge and diagnosis
of Ford electrical and electronic components and
systems.
Hybrid Vehicles (2 Days)
Provides hands-on skills to diagnose and repair the
Escape, Fusion and MKZ Hybrid vehicles in a safe
and effective manner. It is strongly recommended
the technicians attending this course already have
Electrical/Electronics training or experience.
IDS – Integrated Diagnostic System (1 Day)
Provides familiarization and basic operation training
on laptop-based Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS).
Course can be tailored to meet fleet needs equipped
with PDS.
IDS/VMM – Integrated Diagnostic System
Training/Vehicle Measurement Module (2 Days)
Provides expanded hands-on diagnostic training
beyond the one-day IDS course by incorporating the
Vehicle Measurement Module functionality.
Fleet On-Site Training Details
Costs:
• $2,100 per day for 15 students
• Includes trainer travel costs, participant reference
materials, and technician certificates
• Two-day training minimum requirement
• $250 per day surcharge for training in Hawaii and
Alaska
• Additional charge of $20 per student for class sizes in
excess of 15 students
• Prices subject to change. To price guarantee, fleets
should pay in advance.
• Fleets will be billed at current course rate at time of
training completion.
• Payment due within 30 days of training completion.
Late payments will be subject to finance charges.
Payment Terms:
• MasterCard, Visa, purchase order for invoice, Ford or
Lincoln Dealership or FAD Parts Statement
• Payment and invoicing will be processed upon comple-
tion of training via MasterCard, Visa, or dealer billing.
• $250 cancellation fee if training is cancelled within 14
days of the scheduled class date
• All billing is handled through a Ford-contracted agent,

Facility Requirements and Training Materials:
Appropriate classroom facilities and learning environment
(table, chairs, screen, power source for instructor equipment).
Training materials are shipped approximately one week
prior to the scheduled training dates.
