Through the design, manufacturing techniques, and material application CRL Deal Trays shall be designed to permit passing of materials under transaction windows without sacrificing security. Each transaction position shall have a stainless steel deal tray as shown on the drawings. Components must be manufactured in strict accordance with the specifications, design, and details. Installer shall be a company that specializes in product type specified. All components and fittings are furnished by the same manufacturer. Deliver materials properly protected against damage during transit. Inspect materials upon delivery for damage. Unless minor defects can be made to meet the Architect’s specifications and satisfaction, damaged parts should be removed and replaced. Store materials at a secure building site under cover in dry location. WARRANTY A. B. 3.2 INSTALLATION A. 3.3 Do not begin installation until openings have been verified and surfaces properly prepared in accordance with drawings. Install in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. CLEANING A. Prior to installing the Deal Trays, the contractor shall verify that all supports have been installed as required by the contract documents and architectural drawings, and approved shop/CAD drawings, if required. Installer shall notify architect of any unsatisfactory preparation that is responsibility of another installer. Clean and prepare all surfaces per manufacturers recommendations for achieving the best results for the substrate under the project conditions. B. Clean surfaces after installation, complying with requirements contained in the manufacturer’s instructions. Remove excess glazing sealant compounds, decals, dirt or other substances. Institute protective measures required throughout the remainder of the construction period to ensure that all the materials do not incur any damage or deterioration.
