All standard cuffs come complete with cover and bladder. Replacement bladders are available for all standard and rapid version straight segmental cuffs and contoured cuffs. Hokanson vascular cuffs are warranted for one year from date of purchase. Cleaning and Sterilization for Hokanson Vascular Cuffs Cleaning Cuffs: Straight and Contoured Cuffs: Removable covers should be removed and washed in a washing machine on gentle cycle and line dried. The covers are made of Nylon and Velcro. Digit and Penile Cuffs: Clean cuffs by wiping with soap and water solution. Do not clean latex cuffs with alcohol products. Sterilizing Cuffs: Straight and Contoured Cuffs: Cuffs can be gas sterilized at temperatures up to 1400F (600C) & then ventilated to insure they dry completely. Digit and Penile Cuffs: Cuffs can be sterilized by two methods: 1. Cuffs can be sterilized with a solution of 5% chlorine bleach in water. 2. Cuffs can be gas sterilized at temperatures up to 1400F (600C) & then ventilated to insure they dry completely. *Do not autoclave any Hokanson cuffs. *Cover an open wound with a 4 x 4 and then wrap limb with plastic warp (e.g. Saran™) gently before placing the cuff over the area will help to protect the cuff from contamination.
