DESCRIPTION
FEATURES
The SL Series loudspeakers from TOA are compact integrated
speaker system for use in sound reinforcement applications, live
performance, and music reproduction systems with an emphasis
on quality sound and durability. Each enclosure houses a woofer
with a large ferrite magnet, and a Constant Directivity (CD) horn
with a piezo driver. This combination provides a wide frequency
response and high power handling capabilities. TOA’s CD horn
ensures a uniform sound dispersion pattern – 90° horizontal by
40° vertical – as well as uniform response characteristics in the
high frequency area. The enclosure itself is built to withstand the
punishment of touring, and the textured finish is both attractive
and scratch-resistant. Two 1/4” input phone jacks wired in
parallel are provided for easy hookup of multiple speaker
systems. Each unit has a punched metal grill to protect the
speaker cone during travel, as well as conveniently-placed
handles. Interlocking protective corners are provided to permit
stacking multiple speakers, and a stand adaptor on the bottom of
each speaker allows the use of a speaker stand. (Note: Both the
SL-122M and SL-152M are floor monitors and cannot be stacked
or mounted on a stand.) TOA’s SL Series loudspeakers are
designed to deliver natural sound in an economical package for
most any sound reinforcement application.
