INTENSE EMOTIONS
With elegance, strength and balance the 508’s sleek silhouette suggests
a vehicle sculpted from a single block.
The 508’s front reflects a new stylistic direction for Peugeot. The grille
floats delicately, as if detached from the bodywork. The feline headlamps
combine contrasting chrome and satin finishes, and can be equipped with
Xenon headlights and or LED day time running lights*.
At the rear, the tail lights feature three rows of striking, red LEDs to resemble
claws. The contours of the vehicle’s sides are intentionally refined and set
off by the satin chrome surround of the glazed surfaces.

Storage compartments
For convenience the 508 includes several carefully considered storage spaces to
make life on board more comfortable: a glove box ventilated with cool air, 2 cup
holders in the front and 2 in the rear, spacious door pockets and a storage
compartment under the central armrest.
Quad-zone air conditioning
The 508 comes equipped with quad-zone air conditioning, allowing each occupant
to have their own air conditioning control.
Seats
The front seats have been developed to deliver style, comfort and support. Electric
and heated options are available, whilst fine leather upholstery provides an
additional level of luxury*. In the rear of 508, the spacious bench seat is comfortable
and welcoming with ample leg room for three adults.

AN OUTSTANDING VIEW
An amazing panoramic glass roof
The 508 SW is equipped with a panoramic glass roof which extends
to the rear seats giving an extraordinary impression of space on the
inside and a dynamic and unique style on the exterior.
With a surface area of 1.62 m2, the glass roof floods the cabin with
natural light. For added comfort, it has an electric shutter system
with 5 preset positions and a one-touch rotary control to adjust it
to your requirements.
PRACTICAL FEATURES
Vast rear storage
The 508 provides a remarkable amount of boot space for its category.
Storage area is optimised throughout all 508 models and numerous
storage solutions are provided.
The boot volume of the 508 SW* reaches a generous 660 litres
(560 dm3 VDA), with the seats raised, and up to 1,865 litres
(1,598 dm3 VDA), once the seat backs have been folded down.
The rigid mat of the 508 SW compartmentalises the boot as it folds,
which also facilitates access to the additional storage compartments.
The boot of the 508 SW can be opened by means of a motorised
tailgate, controlled from the driver’s seat , remotely, or on the
tailgate itself.**

Keyless entry with push button start*
Replacing the conventional mechanical key with this system,
simplifies access to and starting of 508.
Just keeping the electronic key in a pocket or handbag will unlock
the doors and the engine can be started or stopped with a simple
press of the Start/Stop button. Finally, when leaving the car, just
brushing the handle with a hand will lock the vehicle’s doors.

Colour Head-Up display*
This feature allows the driver to have a safe view of key driving
information, without the need to look away from the road ahead.
The Head-Up display projects information such as speed, cruise
control and speed limiter settings and navigation instructions
onto a retractable strip within the driver’s field of vision.
Available park space measurement*
This function is coupled with the front and rear parking assistance.
It measures the space available and indicates on the multifunction
screen whether you can park and the level of difficulty of the
manoeuvre to be carried out.
TECHNOLOGICAL ASSURANCE
Audio system
The 508 is fitted with the new PC Sound audio system
– Peugeot Connect Sound (RD5). The Peugeot Connect
Sound (RD5) is a dual tuner radio/CD/MP3 and is
connected to multiple speakers.
It has a USB/jack socket as standard and is fitted with
a Bluetooth® hands-free kit.
It‘s controlled from the navigator located on the centre
console, with the most frequently used commands
controlled from the steering wheel.
The USB/jack socket is fitted on the entire 508 range
as standard and is found in a storage compartment
located under the central armrest, for the easy
connection of portable equipment.
The Arkamys system and the JBL HIFI kit
The 508 is fitted with the Arkamys digital sound
processing as standard, which creates a more
balanced sound ambience.
For High Fidelity sound, the 508 offers a JBL HIFI kit*
of 10 speakers coupled with a 500W amplifier. Among
these 10 speakers, the 508 range includes a central
channel situated on the fascia panel and a bass box in
the boot.

Fitted exclusively only on the 508 GT and 508 SW GT,
a double wishbone front suspension with drop link
hub carrier provides high level directional stability,
and allows a unique driving experience.
The 2.2L HDi 204 bhp diesel engine gives the 508 GT
and 508 SW GT an exceptional level of performance
and acceleration with remarkable acoustic comfort.
At the same time the engine emits only 150 g of CO2/
km in the sedan and 154 g of CO2/km in the SW.

HDi FAP
A high-performance emission control system, the Particle
Emission Filter (FAP) is combined with HDi technology.
A self-cleaning system, it treats the gases produced by the
diesel engine’s combustion. The filter further reduces the diesel
particles, bringing them to the measurable limit (0.004 g/km).
Simply put – a cleaner, greener diesel engine.

Braking system and ESP
Driver and passenger safety is of paramount
importance on 508 and 508 SW. Peugeot’s
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), which
groups together a host of braking technologies
ensures dynamic handling and delivers a
high level of safety.
Electric parking brake
The electric parking brake is automatically
applied when the engine is stopped, even if
stalled. The parking brake is then automatically
released on acceleration. The Hill Assist
function coupled with the electric parking brake
maintains the brake temporarily (for 2 seconds)
when the vehicle is on a gradient.

PROTECTION
Peugeot Smartbeam Assistance*
At night, a dedicated camera continuously
analyses the light conditions (lights of other
vehicles, street lamps, etc.) and switches
the headlamps to main beams as soon as
possible to improve visibility.

Additional directional lighting
With the dipped headlamps or main beam
headlamps on, if the vehicle speed is lower than
25 mph (40 km/h), the beam of the front fog lamp
lights the inside of the turn. This additional lighting
is of particular use in town, at crossroads, on very
winding roads, when parking, etc.
Bi-Xenon directional headlamps*
508 and 508 SW can be fitted with NEO
(New Efficieny Optics) bi-Xenon directional
headlamps coupled with LED-based daytime running lights for a unique stylistic
signature.

Bumper protection
Consists of 4 pieces of transparent resin
positioned on vunerable points of the bumper.
Manufactured from hard wearing carpet, this
tailored boot mat is an ideal complement to
the set of front mats.
Designed to complement the lines of the vehicle
whilst protecting the vehicle’s bodywork from
damage that can be caused by road debris.
Supplied in matt black plastic, they can, if required,
be painted body colour for that extra special look.
