Front Side Printing
• Minimum is 4 point positive / 6 point negative
• Recommend small type be made 100% of single color
Back Side Printing
• Minimum is 5 point positive / 7 point negative
Line Weight
• Minimum: 1/2 point (.007 in.)
Ink Colors
• Maximum: 6 colors
• Specify PMS colors from the Pantone Solid Coated
• No metallic or fluorescent inks
• Black: Use 100% black and not rich black (screens of CMYK)
Screens
• Minimum: 2% (includes vignettes and drop shadows)
Backside Printing
• See page 2
Barcodes and QR codes
• Must fit within copy limits. Must be one color (red will not scan).
• White background is preferred.

Backside Printing
• All copy and graphics must be kept within the copy limits
There is a 1/4” of no ink area around all four sides
• Use reverse type, images, and heavy graphics sparingly
Heavy ink coverage impairs adhesion
• Minimum 5 point sans serif type in solid color for positive,
7 points sans serif type for reverse
• Screened type should be no smaller than 10 points
• Be cautious when using thin, serif, or decorative fonts

Coin Reactive
• Minimum font size is 12 point bold sans serif typeface. For best results avoid small type
• and keep amount of type to a minimum.
• Coin reactive reveal will print gray. It cannot use colored inks. See example below.
• Convert all type to outlines.
• Coin reactive area can only have text. No images or lineart.
• The coin reactive area cannot have any graphics/ink over it and must remain white
to keep from interfering with the coin reactive.
• Recommend that your label print with the directive to “scratch with coin” to direct readers
• on how to reveal the message underneath.
• Coin reactive is available with any of our special shapes.
• The coin reactive area may also be a shape.
• You may have up to 8 rotating messages. If number of offers to be printed are equal,
number of messages must be an even number.

• Backside may print with black or other PMS solid coated color.
