DESCRIPTION This vehicle specification describes Tahoe 2wd POLICE
PACKAGE - PPV - CC10706 type multipurpose passenger
vehicle. Under normal conditions this vehicle will be used to
transport patrol Officers to various work locations in the
Washington Metropolitan Area. 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe 2WD
4dr 1500 Commercial (summit white color). Decals installed by
WMATA
*DETAILED PAINT NOTE: The paint scheme for this vehicle SHALL utilize Ford 2011 Crown Vic
(LT) paint code(blue) (or equivalent) on the front and back ends while the four doors and roof
SHALL be standard Chevrolet Summit White. (see picture)

6E2 KEY COMMON, COMPLETE VEHICLE FLEET. Provides a
single key W/A with a specific code that is common to the door
locks and ignition of all the vehicles in the vehicle fleet. Key
code is an alternate to SEO (6E8) complete vehicle fleet
common key. NOTE: Not compatible with 2005 and earlier
Impalas, 2006 and earlier Tahoes and 2011 and later Caprice.

Fleetwatch GP92 System
I. This system consists of three components:

Electronics Module (black box) will be mounted under the dash and easily
accessible but will not interfere with the operation of the vehicle.
Reader (white box) will be mounted on the inside window closest to the
fuel fill.
Antenna (small GPS module) will be mounted on the front dash or rear
window deck so that there is a clear (straight up) view of the sky. WMATA's
preference is the rear window deck. If mounted on the front dash it shall
not obstruct the operators view.
Wiring:
The ground must be attached to a chassis ground
There are two power wires
Full time power will be fused
Accessory power must be powered only in the ignition run position.
All connections must be hard wired, no quick disconnect electrical terminals
will be used

Note: due to the specialized equipment on some vehicles, mounting of the
components may not be possible as specified. In those cases the contractor
must confirm component location with WMATA before installation.

Contractor Compliance Items
Warranty Date Warranty to commence WMATA in service date.
Warranty Duration Must provide minimum three (3) year or 100,000 miles parts
and labor warranty on complete vehicle.
Corrosion Protection Undercoating and rust proofing required if manufacturer
warranty is not for a minimum of 5 years or 100,000 MILES.
Advertising Restriction Contractor shall not install any trade names or decals.
Specification Definition All specifications stated are minimum requirements or equal.
Delivery Notification Vendor must notify Sterling Brown (202-962-5649) and Chris
Manning (301-618-7543) prior to delivery
Service Bulletins All factory service bulletins are to be sent to: Washington

Legal Status Vehicles must meet all federal and state laws when delivered.
Service Manuals 3 complete sets of Manuals (CD Format) per vehicle type. (A
memo must be sent if manuals are on back order stating the
ETA.
Keys 6 complete sets of keys with transmitters.
Certificate of Origin Executable Certificate of Origin must be delivered with
vehicles.
Temporary Tags Temporary tags from the state where dealer is located MUST
be Affixed to the vehicle and proper temporary registration
supplied time of delivery. Tags MUST be valid for a MINIMUM
of 30 days from date of delivery.
Inspection The Authority reserves the right to perform on site acceptance.
Compliance Prior to Payment All new equipment will be inspected for conformance to these
specifications before final acceptance and payment is issued.
