review and approval of a proposal is a multi-step process that may take up to a year and is not complete

Syllabus
Nearly all course changes affect the syllabus, even if only in a small way. If the proposed change is only
logistical and has literally no impact on course title, description, credits, method of instruction, grading
method, content, goals, assessment, assignments, or course calendar, submit EXISTING course syllabus
only. If the proposed change impacts any of the aforementioned, submit both EXISTING and
PROPOSED syllabi and please label each according to the submission instruction. Feel free to highlight
the differences in the PROPOSED syllabus to assist reviewers in addressing the changes.
