Do you intend to equip your home with high-performance, energy-efficient windows?
Do you plan to improve your home in a way that lowers energy costs and provides for a comfortable
interior?
Are you looking for utility programs within your state that can help you finance such an investment in
efficient windows?
The following pages give an overview of utility and state programs to help finance improvements in window energy
efficiency. Programs are listed by state and by the specific utility companies that administer the programs. For detailed
information about each program, please refer to the web links in the list. Some programs aim to improve home energy
performance in general and others explicitly focus on windows. Direct mention of windows (as well as shades, storm
windows, and window film) is marked in red. For details about the eligibility criteria of specific programs, please contact the
respective utility sponsors. This list does not give complete information about ALL window-related utility programs in the
United States. Please contact your utility for more information about available programs. Please contact
efficientwindows@gmail.com if you have an addition to this list.
