TITLE:
Stockroom and Energy Management Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience of staff,
projects, and budgets.
3. Extensive experience in stock and inventory control.
4. Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication.
5. Experience with industry standard computer applications.
6. Strong interpersonal skills.
7. Strong orientation to customer service.
8. Knowledge of electrical energy saving methods and
computerized operating systems.
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may
find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO:
Program Administrator, Maintenance Services
JOB GOAL:
To ensure that the District’s investment in material managed through
effective control of the Maintenance stockroom and develop,
implement and update an effective energy management program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists in the operation and activities of the Maintenance stockroom.
2. Assists the Director in planning, budgeting and accounting.
3. Maintains stock records in such a manner that will provide optimum supply
effectiveness without creating a surplus inventory and with due regard to available
space and shelf life.
4. Assists employees in procuring material and equipment in compliance with District
purchasing policy.
5. Works with members of Maintenance Services and other departments responsible for
utility records, representatives of utility companies, and school principals and staff in
putting together a workable energy plan.
6. Assumes responsibility for energy audits in all schools and sets in motion the work
necessary for plans and specifications to reduce energy consumption as indicated by
audits.
7. Works with educators, architects, engineers, etc. in design of new schools, additions,
and renovations to insure that plans incorporate the latest and best energy features.
8. Compiles regular reports relating to energy costs, management and recommendations.
9. Ensures adherence to good safety procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10
pounds of force constantly to move objects
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Twelve-month year. Salary as established by the Board
ASSESSMENT:
Performance of this job will be assessed annually in accordance with provisions of
the Board’s policy on assessment of supervisory/technical personnel.
