ISO 9001: 2000 Circuit Breakers Switch Disconnectors Disconnectors Earthing Switches Operating Devices Accessories WN-1 / WNS-1 Voltage indicator Voltage indicator with blockade Catalogue No 06.03.03.EN 1. VOLTAGE INDICATOR WN-1 1.1 APPLICATION. 1.5 SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM OF VOLTAGE INDICATOR. Voltage indicator is made for luminous signalling of the voltage in MV electric circuit, for example on the busbar in switching station. 1.2 CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES. • plain construction; • simple maintenance; • high durability and reliability. 1.3 CONSTRUCTION. Voltage indicator consist the case in which electronic elements are installed. Three luminous points indicate the voltage in all of phases, three plug-in sockets and one neutral plug-in socket are placed on front panel. Its allow on additional control of presence voltage in MV circuits. One detached plug is placed on back panel of the case for connecting the wires which are connected to reactance insulators of MV apparatus. Application of screw terminal facilitates and accelerate installment of the device. 1.4 DESIGNATIONS OF VOLTAGE INDICATOR. Voltage indicator is adapted for MV apparatus (switch disconnectors, disconnecting switches) produced by ZWAE Sp. z o. o. and equipped with reactance insulators. It can be also use for MV apparatus other producers which are equipped with similar voltage divider of 230VAC output voltage. An example of an order: N1 - Neon lamp 220V W1 - Varistor 275VAC G1 - plug-in socket 4mm black G2 - plug-in socket 4mm red G3 - supply socket with 4 conductor track Voltage indicator type WN-1 is plugged directly to terminals of reactance insulators of MV apparatus (terminal L1, L2, L3). Additionally the earthing clamp should be connected to earthing system. Control of correctness of individual signalling lamp is performed with the aid of additional tester, which is on the equipment of voltage indicator. Voltage indicator type WN-1. 2. VOLTAGE INDICATOR WITH BLOCKADE WNS-1 2.1. APPLICATION. The voltage indicators with blockade are used to the light signaling the presence of voltage in the circuits of MV, for example, on the summary rails in distribution rooms. Additionally, the indicators can work with the system of control equipment making possible or blocking manoeuvring of certain apparatus. This indicator introduces the additional level of safety for the user. The voltage inducator is adjusted to working with aparatus MV (switch disconnectors, disconnecting switches) produced by ZWAE Sp. z oo equipped with reactance insulators ,and also with apparatus of different manufacturers' equipped in similar voltage dividers. 2.2. ADVANTAGES. • simple and clear structure; •indicators which describe the status in clear and unambiguous way; • the easiness of assembly; • the reliability of working; • the low power consumption from the auxiliary power supply. 2.3. CONSTRUCTION. The voltage indicator consists of the casing, in which the electronic components are installed. On the front panel there are three points of light indicating the presence of voltage on each phase and three socket banana type of phase voltage and one socket of a neutral line. They permit additional control of the voltage presence in circuits of MV. The indicator possesses also two LED diodes signaling the possibility or the lack of possibility to manoeuvr the apparatus of MV. At the back of the casing there are two detachable plugs. The upper one (4-pines) is used for connecting the flex from the reactance support insulators of the MV apparatus. The bottom one (8-pines) is used for connecting the auxiliary power supply and as well as for leading out two contacts of the relay auxiliary. Contacts condition shows the presence of voltage on the rails. The solution with the helical clamps of the plag, considerably makes easy and accelerates the assembly of the device. Indicators with locking, at standard, are equipped with overvoltage and antishort-circuit protection. 2.4. WORKING RULES. The electronic system is applied to the apparatus and it analyse the presence of voltage in each phase. When the voltage is present on a least one phase, the system idicates the lack of possibility of manoeuvering of the MV apparatus (the red diode BLOKADE lights) and the executive transmitter stops the auxiliary contacts NO in the open position. The similar action happens in the lack of auxiliary power supply. However if on all phases threre is no voltage condition, the indicator shows the possibility of manoeuvring with the MV connector (the green diode PERMISSION lights) and the auxiliary contacts NO of the transmitter are in the state of short-circuit. 2.5. NOMINAL RATING. Border (minimal) current of signalling: Imin = 60 µA Rated currents of signalling: In = 270 µA Substitude impedance of one of the phase of the indicator: Zn = 220 kÙ Auxiliary contacts - two pairs: 2P Load capacity of the auxiliary contacts: 8A/230 VAC Power consumption: <2VA Auxiliary voltage supply: 230 VAC 220 VDC 110 VDC Other voltages on customer demand.. An example of an order: Voltage indicator type WNS-1/230 VAC. 2.6. ELECTRIC SCHEME OF THE INDICATOR. 2.7. SAMPLE SCHEME OF CONNECTIONS. The electric scheme of the part signalling the presence of voltage on certain phases of the indicator WNS-1 is identical to WN-1. The voltage indicator WNS-1 are connected directly to the lead out of the reactance insulators (clamps L1, L2, L3). Additionally the terminal labelled with earthing sign should be connected to the earting system. The control of the correctness of signalling of certain bulbs are made with the help of additional tester, which is a part of the equipment of the indicator. Auxiliary connectors of the transmitter in the lack of voltage on the summary rails or the lack of auxiliary voltage are in the state likt in drawing 2. The summary rails of a MV distribution room are adjusted to the basis with the reactance insulators. Voltage dividers which are in insulators are adjusted directly to the indicator by 4-pines plug. Additional auxiliary voltage 230VAC is led to the indicator through 8-pines plug. Two pairs of contacts of the auxiliary transmitter installed in the indicator are also led out through 8-pine plug. If needed the contacts can be used normally open or normally closed. Through the normally open contacts (NO) can be led circuit of the contacteur which controls the electomagnetic blokade which makes unable the mnoeuvering of the certain apparatus (i.e. earting switch) in the presence of voltage on summary rails. Additional contacteur is required in direct controlling of the element of big inductance. Drawing 3 shows a sample scheme of the connections . REL1 - Auxiliary relay G4 - 8-pine plug Drv.2.
