LIMITED WARRANTY ADDENDUM
This Addendum incorporates by reference ES-104(Rev 4) and includes the following additional provisions contained herein. In the
event of a conflict between this Addendum and ES-104(Rev 4), the Addendum shall take precedence.
SURGE PROTECTIVE DEVICES (SPD)
WARRANTY PERIOD
Tranquell Wallmount; Tranquell Integral Mount; Tranquell Box Extension; TR Wallmount; TR Box Extension Series
The Warranty Period for the Tranquell Wallmount, Tranquell Integral Mount, Tranquell Box Extension, TR Wallmount, and TR Box
Extension Series SPD Products is ten (10) years from the date of shipment from Seller’s facility.
Tranquell Din Rail Mount Series
The warranty period for the Tranquell Din Rail Mount Series SPD Product is two (2) years from the date of shipment from Seller’s
facility.
For non-US sales, parts only are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment from Seller’s factory.
US WARRANTY ONLY
This warranty is valid only in the United States and for Products sold and installed within Seller-specified countries.
AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCHES (ATS)
WARRANTY PERIOD
ZTE, ZTG, ZTS, and ZT30 Series
The Warranty Period for ZTE, ZTG, ZTS, and ZT30 Series transfer switch Products is twenty-four (24) months from the date of
shipment.
ZTX Series
The Warranty Period for ZTX Series transfer switch Products is twelve (12) months from the date of shipment.
GTX Series
The Warranty Period for GTX Series transfer switch Products is twelve (12) months from the date of shipment and covers material
only. Remedial labor is not covered by the GTX Series warranty.
Replacement Parts
Replacement parts are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days when installed by an authorized Seller factory or authorized Seller
service station.
US WARRANTY ONLY
This warranty is valid only in the United States and for Products sold and installed within Seller-specified countries.
PARALLELING SWITCHGEAR (PSG)
WARRANTY PERIOD
Digital Commander™, Energy Commander™ Series Paralleling Switchgear and ZTSMV Series Transfer Switches
The Warranty Period for Digital Commander Paralleling Switchgear, Energy Commander Paralleling Switchgear, and ZTSMV Series
Transfer Switches is twelve (12) months from the date of commissioning or eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment from
Seller’s facility, whichever comes first.
Replacement parts are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days when installed by an authorized Seller factory or authorized Seller

UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS)
WARRANTY PERIOD
SG and TLE Series
The Warranty Period for SG and TLE Series UPS Products is twelve (12) months from the date of commissioning or eighteen (18)
months from date of shipment, whichever comes first.
LP33, LP11, GT, IT, and VCL Series
The Warranty Period for LP33, LP11, GT, IT, and VCL Series UPS Products is twenty-four (24) months from the date of shipment
from Seller’s facility.
VH Series
The Warranty Period for the VH Series UPS Products is thirty-six (36) months from the date of shipment from Seller’s facility.
DPB Series Busway, MDU & RDU Series Power Distribution, and STS3 & STS1 Series Static Transfer Switch
The Warranty Period for the DPB Series Busway, MDU & RDU Series Power Distribution, and STS3 & STS1 Series Static Transfer
Switch Products is twelve (12) months from the date of commissioning or eighteen (18) months from date of shipment, whichever
comes first.
US WARRANTY ONLY
This warranty is valid only in the United States and for Products sold and installed within Seller-specified countries.
DC POWER
WARRANTY PERIOD
The Warranty period for DC Power Products is twenty-four (24) months from the date of shipment.
The Warranty Period for Services shall expire six (6) months from the date of Seller’s job completion notice, except that softwarerelated Services are warranted for ninety (90) days.
EMBEDDED POWER
WARRANTY PERIOD
The Warranty Period for Embedded Power Products is as follows: (i) for Board Mounted Power Products, thirty-six (36) months from
the date of shipment to Buyer; (ii) for Non-System Based Front End Power Products, twelve (12) months from the date of shipment to
Buyer; and (iii) for System Based Front End Power Products, twenty-four (24) months from the date of shipment to Buyer.
PROHIBITED USES
In addition to prohibitions on nuclear use, the Products and Services sold by Seller are not intended for use in connection with
any avionics or life support activity or equipment, and Buyer warrants that it shall not use or permit others to use Products or
Services for such purposes without the advance written consent of Seller. If, in breach of this, any such use occurs, Seller (and its
parent, affiliates, suppliers and subcontractors) disclaims all liability for any claims, damages, or injuries (including death). In
addition to any other rights of Seller, Buyer shall indemnify and hold Seller (and its parent, affiliates, suppliers and
subcontractors) harmless against all such liability. Consent of Seller to any such use, if any, will be conditioned upon additional
terms and conditions that Seller determines to be acceptable for protection against avionics or life support liability.
