I.
General Background Information and Aim of the Project:
The project will contribute to poverty alleviation through employment creation within the vulnerable groups and especially women and the
disabled. Training, tools and materials will be provided to individual households and capacity building at community level will be provided
through the development of cottage activity associations and cottage industry facility centres.
The Scope of Supply
Items should be packed in ‘last-trip’ containers to be purchased by the successful bidder and charged to UNIDO as part of the
offer. Containers should be stuffed only with goods for a single destination with one (or more) container(s) destined for Al
Korno and one (or more) container(s) destined for Nassiriya. The containers will then be left on site and used as secure
storage space at the training centres.

Note for the invitees: In cases when a two-envelope system

for commercial offer, with unit and total prices.
III.
Guarantee Requirements
All items should be guaranteed for a minimum period of 18 months including after-sales
service from the date of delivery.
IV.
Delivery Period
Items should be delivered within 2 months from the date of the confirmed order.
V.
Installation, Commissioning and Acceptance
No installation required.
