Pluggable connections with EMC shielding
Protecting systems and appliances from electromagnetic interference has become more important
than ever. In terms of electrical power supply it is essential to provide reliable EMC protection from
the current source to the consumer. Plugs and sockets used for the connection must not interrupt
the electromagnetic screening.
To make pluggable connections possible in sensitive areas, ISV offers a line of EMC plugs and sockets,
decontactors and connectors covering a power range of mA up to 250 A. Frequency-controlled
drives can thus be connected via plugs and socket-outlets, measurement data be safely transmitted,
components be disconnected and replaced according to requirements...
The plugs and socket-outlets are fitted with high performance silver-nickel butt contacts and offer
automatic IP65 protection upon connection without any additional operation. They are suited for use
under extreme conditions.

Automatic IP65 protection
The protection degree is obtained automatically upon connection of the plug or closing of the socket lid. No other
operation is necessary.
Optimal power transmission
The plugs and socket-outlets are fitted with vibration and corrosion resistant
silver-nickel butt contacts in compliance with the Marechal technology. They
ensure constant contact pressure and optimal conductivity even after years of
intensive use.
Maximum safety thanks to Decontactor system
Marechal Decontactors are plugs and socket-outlets with an integral switching
device allowing to break loads up to 250 A in complete safety.
Power and control
Auxiliary contacts in the plug and socket device permit the control of processes such as connection control, thermal motor control, PLC signal transmission, ... Multicontact plugs and socket-outlets with up to 20 contacts complete the EMC range.
The Decontactor: combining safety and efficiency
Safely disconnect by a simple press on the button
Marechal Decontactors are plugs and socketoutlets with an integral switching device. They can
break loads up to 250 A in complete safety. A simple
press on the latch makes the Decontactor break the
circuit before the plug is removed from the socket.
A safety shutter prevents any access to live parts. The operation is therefore very easy and offers maximum safety.
Maintenance and repair: less downtime
Motors connected by means of a Marechal Decontactor can be
moved quickly and safely without expensive disconnection
and re-wiring. Maintenance and repair is done without
losing any time. A defective motor or appliance may be
replaced by a single person within minutes. This reduces
downtime costs to a minimum.
Reduce installation costs
The Decontactor offers a load breaking capacity according to AC22/AC23. It combines the
functions of a plug and a switch in a single device.
