Light Operation Located on the back of the light unit is the Function Button. This operates the light and informs you of the mode and the battery power status. ·· To turn on the light, double click the Function Button, the light turns on in the brightest mode. ·· To switch between the constant settings, press the Function Button once. When the setting is changed, the colour of the button for the first 3 seconds informs you which lighting mode has been selected. Thereafter the colour of the button is your fuel gauge indicating battery power remaining. ·· To activate the flashing or SOS mode, press and hold the Function Button, release immediately after one flash. The flashing or SOS mode can be activated from any of the constant modes. To return to the high mode, press the Function Button once. ·· To turn off the light, press and hold the Function Button. The light will briefly go out, then flash twice. Then release the button and the light will have switched off. Optimised Mode SelectOR (OMS) When light is off press and hold the Function Button. After 3 seconds multiple flashes indicate SPT+ is activated, keep holding the function button OMS will now begin and the Function button will flash in sequence. The number of lit flashes denotes the program selected. Release button when required program is reached. Smart Port Technology Plus (SPT+) The Smart Port Technology+ not only enables the user to charge the light but also to power accessories and ancillary products. To activate SPT+ without the front light on, press and hold the function button, immediately release when the main light rapid flashes. Accessories and ancillary products will now be powered. To switch the Smart Port off - simply turn the light on and off again. SPT+ automatically becomes active when the main light is switched on. It also automatically shuts down when the light is turned off. Warning: Ensure that the Smart Port is switched off before charging. Charging Your Light Use only the supplied USB charging cable with your light. ·· Make sure your light & Smart Port is turned off. ·· Open the rubber protective storm cap on the back of the light. ·· Insert the jack into the smart port socket. ·· Plug the other end of the cable into a computer USB port. ·· The Function button will flash green whilst charging ·· If the Function button does not flash whilst pluged into the USB port selected, you may have selected a non powered USB port. Please try another USB port. ·· Average full charge time is 6hrs, the Function button will stop flashing and stay lit green when charged ·· Once charged remove the plug and replace the protective storm cap. Smart Charging Exposure Lights Use only genuine Exposure Lights chargers. International chargers, mains charger and in-car charger are also available. Exposure Lights use the highest quality Lithium Ion batteries. This allows them to be recharged at any point during the discharge cycle. Burn times will not be affected by multiple re-charging. Long periods of non-use will lower the voltage of the battery. If the unit is being stored for long periods, please ensure the battery is periodically charged. We suggest once per month. Handlebar Mounting Attach the non-tabbed end of the silicone band to the short side of the bracket. Although universal this is the prefered fitting option. Place the bracket onto your handle bar making sure the short side of the bracket faces forward. Pull the tab under the handlebar and attach to the long side of the bracket. Simply click the Sirius into the bracket making sure all is secure. WARNING - Make sure that brake and gear cables cannot catch on or interfere with the light or the bracket. The lenses are made of hi-tech resistant resin but can be scratched. Be careful when cleaning any mud or dirt from the lens. Never use a high pressure spray or hose on your Exposure light. Do not use harsh abrasive or corrosive materials to clean your Exposure light.
