HIGH INTENSITY STROBES
THE MOST ADVANCED HIGH INTENSITY
STROBE SYSTEM
The OTL High Intensity Strobe System c
onsists of multiple
flash heads powered b
y individual power supplies and monitored by a single controller. The controller and power supplies
are all located at groundlevel in a safe environment.
THE SYSTEM
• The OTL High intensity Strobe System consists of multiple flash heads powered by individual power supplies
and monitored by a single controller.
• The controller and power supplies are all located at ground level in a safe environment.
• The power supplies and the flash heads can be separated by up to 2,200 ft.
• The controller and the power supplies are modular designed and can be rack mounted or wall mounted.
• The number of power supplies and flash heads is determined by the height and diameter of the structure.
CONTROLLER
• The controller monitors the operation on each power supply and flash head.
• The controller provides alarm contact upon any detected failure.
• The controller automatically switches the intensities (day, twilight and night) through the use of photocells.
• The controller sets the number of flashes, the synchronization and the sequence (catenary).
• The controller is designed to provide, at a glimpse, the status of each power supply and flash head.
• The proper procedure of operation of the system is clearly indicated with LEDs on the cover of the controller.

POWER SUPPLY
ONE POWER SUPPLY IS REQUIRED PER FLASH HEAD.
THE PROPER PROCEDURE OF OPERATION OF EACH POWER SUPPLY IS ALSO
INDICATED ON THE UNIT ITSELF.
THE POWER SUPPLIES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE.
ALL THE ELECTRONICS ARE ENCOMPASSED INTO THE POWER SUPPLY AT GROUND LEVEL.
A TECHNICIAN AT GROUND LEVEL CAN REPAIR THE ELECTRONICS. NO RIGGERS
ARE REQUIRED.
NUMBER OF LEVEL, MAXIMUM 8.
FLASH HEAD
THE FLASH HEAD HAS NO ELECTRONICS BUILT IN.
THE FLASH HEAD CONTAINS A LAMP(S), CAPACITORS, RELAYS AND TRIGGER TRANSFORMERS.
THE NUMBER OF PARTS IS LIMITED TO A MINIMUM.
THE XENON LAMP IS TRIGGERED INTERNALLY TO PREVENT OZONE AND CORROSION.
THE FLASH HEAD CAN BE WHITE ONLY OR WHITE AND RED (DUAL).
THE FLASH HEAD CAN BE RETROFITTED AT A LATER DATE WITH RED LIGHT.
