100 Pin CPGA
• There are two package part #’s, with identical routing and layout.
• 8180BA (SSM P/N CPG10018)
• 8180AB (SSM P/N CPG10034)
– Note: in some cases, the 8180BA package might not have the extra
registration pin present in the 8180AB package.
• The packages have an extra registration pin on the pad 1 corner, so
add an extra hole in the socket to handle this pin. Ideally, make the
socket symmetric by adding four holes to allow any orientation of
the package. The extra pin can be cut if necessary to fit with
existing sockets.

Trap height and shielding
• Height h of the top of trap chip above the top of the package:

to the package.
