Southwire’s Proof Positive® Copper-Clad
Steel Conductor meets or exceeds the
following applicable ASTM specifications:
• Suitable for direct burial
•B 910: Annealed Copper-Clad Steel Wire
• Unique serial number provides proof of
ownership for traceability
OPTIONS
• Solid (1 strand)
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
• Stranded (7 and 19 strands)
•Bare copper-clad steel stranded conductor
• 30% or 40% conductivity, DSA (dead soft
annealed)
• Low carbon (LC) steel
•Center strand is tinned and has a laseretched, unique set of codes that will be
visible for the life of the conductor
•Code is comprised of:
• A license code
• A serial number unique to every foot of
cable
• The website URL which stores the
ownership information
•One strand in the outermost layer of the
construction is also tinned
