The Seattle Aquarium: Inspiring

protect these precious local and global resources.
How do we achieve this mission? With wondrous
animals, engaging exhibits, passionate and

Getting greener all the time
Hours
Our mission, Inspiring Conservation of Our Marine
Environment, starts with us. We strive to be as green
as possible with daily operations that include
recycling, composting, rain barrels, solar-assisted
hot water heating, low-flow fixtures, and sustainable
seafood for our animals—and the guests in our
café. We also work to educate our visitors about
how they can make green choices at home. Want to
learn what you can do to help care for our marine
environment? Visit SeattleAquarium.org.
