New Undergraduate Students Registration for the Academic Year 2016

Registration office, Chiang Mai University will hold the new undergraduate students registration
during July 25th – 28th, 2016 at RB5 Building, Chiang Mai University. Instructions for new students are
provided as follows.
1. Student Information Fill-out Procedures
Students enter their personal information completely and correctly, and print out documents via
internet on website: www3.reg.cmu.ac.th/stdinfo/undergraduate
1.1 Information recording date for students admitted through Admissions System and Special
Programs: June 15th – 14th, 2016
1.2 Document printing date for all admission channels: July 18th – 28th, 2016
The following documents are to be printed:




Registration procedure checklist for the academic year 2016
Two copies of CMR 01-04 forms with complete and correct information including the
graduation certificate number and GPA. (To be signed and dated prior to submission)
Tuition and registration fees notification
Parental permission for student’s internship and visiting program (To be signed and
dated prior to submission)
-22. Other Documents for New Students Registration
2.1 Degree certification indicating graduation date. Certificate will be returned to student after
completing registration procedure. Photocopy is not accepted.
2.2 Two photocopy of house registration only for Thai citizen.
2.3 An original and five photocopies of official identification card or current passport. Student’s
signature is required for verification of all photocopies.
2.4 A photocopy of parent’s or guardian’s official identification card or current passport.
2.5 Two full-face photos in student’s uniform to be affixed on the CMR 01-04 forms.
Student who fails to present any of the above documents cannot register as a new student.
3. Fee payment for Undergraduate level at Chiang Mai University.
3.1 Tuition fee payment period: August 22nd - 26th, 2016.
3.2 Registration fees are specified for some special programs in Faculty of Engineering, and
international programs in Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Nursing. Students in these
programs will pay the indicated fees during August 22nd - 26th, 2016.

5. Other suggestions after completing new students registration.
New Students (Code 59…) should continue with the followings.
5.1 Request for an ID card.
5.2 Apply for a health insurance.
5.3 Create the CMU Account at ITSC Corner.
5.4 Attend the new students orientation at Chiang Mai University convention center:
August 2nd – 3rd, 2016.
5.5 Take the CMU ePro: English proficiency test: July 29th – August 1st, 2016.
5.6 Meet with academic advisor for course enrollment instructions.
5.7 Enroll for courses via internet at http://www3.reg.cmu.ac.th/regist159 : August 4th - 5th, 2016.
-4New students registration will be completed when tuition and registration fees are fully paid.
Students who provide incorrect information or use false documents in any registration procedures will
have their student status revoked. Student who fails to register as a new student within 10 days
following the new students registration date will be considered to have denied the admission
offer.
