When do you have the right to a contract of employment?
You have the right to an employment contract when you have been
employed for more than one month and you work more than eight hours a
week. If you have shorter working hours in the beginning you will not be
entitled to a contract until your average work week over the past four
weeks exceeds eight hours.

Even if you do not meet all the requirements, it is always a good idea to
ask your employer to give you a brief written agreement that sets out the
terms of your employment.
According to the Danish Act on Employers’ Obligations to Inform Employ
ees of the Conditions Applicable to their Employment Relationship, your
employer must as a minimum include the following ten things in your
contract:
1. The names and addresses of the employer and the employee (you)
2. The location of the place of work
3. A description of your job or your job title, grade, position or job category
4. The date on which your employment contract takes effect
5. The anticipated duration of your employment if your employment is
temporary
6. Your holiday rights, including information on whether you will receive
ordinary pay or holiday pay during your holidays
7. The terms of notice to be observed by you and your employer and/or
the applicable rules on terms of notice
8. The pay rate in force or agreed upon, as well as any allowances payable
and the dates on which your pay will be transferred to your account
9. Your daily or weekly working hours
10.The collective agreement, if any, that governs your conditions of
