How are you able to gain a better understanding of the Filipino culture, traditions, and values? Are you able to relate to some of the characters or situations in the movie as someone with a distinct culture of your own? If you are a Filipino born and raised in the U.S., is this movie able to provide you with a better understanding of your Filipino heritage? How similar or different? If you were to pick a character in the movie, who would it be and why would you pick this character? 3 3.
