DETAILED REPORT OUTLINE (This outline will be an updated version of the one you prepared for your Research Proposal in URBP 298A.) Write a very detailed outline of the report, as you imagine it might look when you are finished. Include all chapters, as well as at least one or two levels of sub-headings giving more detail for each chapter. Also, for each chapter note in parentheses the number of pages you estimate it will be. Last update: 12/15/15 SCHEDULE OF TASKS FOR 298B Prepare a schedule that identifies when you will finish each task needed to complete the report. The schedule below is a sample. You MUST include the deadlines noted in red (you can pick the recommended earlier deadline or the required later one), but the material in black text is included only as a sample. You may also use a different format from the one below, if you prefer. It is recommended that you plan to turn in one or more draft chapters prior to turning in the first complete draft report. If you choose to do this, you will want to build those dates into your schedule. Keep in mind that your adviser will need at least five business days to review draft work you submit, especially for a full draft. 12/x/2016 12/x/2016 12/x/2016 1/x/2016 1/x/2016 1/x/2016 2/10/2016 2/x/2016 2/x/2016 2/x/2016 2/x/2016 2/x/2016 3/x/2016 3/7/2016 3/x/2016 3/x/2016 3/x/2016 4/x/2016 4/4/2016 4/x/2016 4/x/2016 5/9/2016 5/16/2016 5/20/2016 Begin writing Chapter X; conduct interviews Begin writing Chapter Y; conduct interviews Begin writing Chapter Z; complete writing Chapter X and Y Turn in chapters X and Y to adviser for feedback; conduct interviews Design and create all 8 maps that will go in the final report; choose about 10 photos to illustrate chapters Q and R Revise content of all chapters IMPORTANT!
