also the official sponsor of New York, Los Angeles and London Fashion Week. In addition to over
500 hundred corporately affiliated salons and Academies, Toni and Guy is the largest brand in
the world for education, salons and academies.
You are receiving this enrollment packet as an invitation to apply to our school. Included in this
packet are the documents needed for applying to our school and instructions to apply for
Federal Aid.

Refund Policy
The following refund polices apply to all students:



Applicants not accepted by the Toni & Guy will receive a refund of all monies
paid with the exception of the non-refundable application fee.
If an applicant cancels the enrollment less after signing the contract and prior
to entering classes, a refund of all monies paid to the school will be returned
For students who enroll and begin classes, but withdraw or are terminated prior
to course completion (after three business days of signing the contract), the
school will apply the following tuition adjustment schedule:

Refunds are based on Scheduled hours
If the school permanently closes or no longer offers instruction after a student
has enrolled, the school will provide a pro rata refund of tuition.
If the course is canceled subsequent to a student’s enrollment, the school will
either provide a full refund of all monies paid or completion of the course at a
later time.
Students who withdraw or are terminated prior to course completion will be
charged a separate administrative fee of $150 and will receive a refund based
upon the tuition adjustment schedule listed above.
All extra costs not included in the tuition price and listed on the enrollment
agreement will be deducted from the contracted program cost prior to
applying the tuition adjustment calculation. Kit remains with School until
balance is paid.
To obtain an applicable refund, a withdrawing student must contact the
administration office in writing, attend an exit interview, and complete all
required exit paperwork.
The formal cancellation date will be determined by the postmark on written
notification; the date said notification is delivered to the school in person, or
thirty days after the last day of attendance or the scheduled return date from
an approved Leave of Absence.

Step 3-Completing the Master Promissory Note
If you are a first time borrower of the Federal Direct Stafford Loan, you are required to
complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) before the loan funds can be disbursed. You
can complete and sign your Federal Direct Stafford Loan MPN at
https://studentloans.gov using your PIN select Sign In and click “Sign MPN” . Print and
Return the confirmation page with your application.
Note: YOU CANNOT START YOUR DESIRED COURSE WITHOUT COMPLETION OF MPN
Step 4-Loan Entrance Counseling
When you are borrowing from the Federal Direct Loan Program, you are required to
participate in loan counseling prior to receiving a Federal Direct Loan. This is to ensure
that you understand your rights, your responsibilities and the obligation you are
assuming when borrowing. Go to https://studentloans.gov/ and complete the Entrance
Counseling. Print a copy of your confirmation page and return with application.
REMINDER: YOU CANNOT START YOUR DESIRED COURSE WITHOUT COMPLETION OF LOAN COUNSELING
Step 5-Completing the PLUS EMPN (parent)
Parents of dependent students who are taking out a loan to pay for their child’s
education should complete a new MPN for Parent PLUS Loans. You can complete and
sign your Federal Direct PLUS Loan MPN at https://studentloans.gov/ using your PIN by
selecting the Complete New MPN for Parent PLUS Loan option.

The Financial Aid Representative will then enter the FAFSA into FAA Access and print
signature pages for you to sign and a confirmation page with your EFC on it and/or they
will call the Financial Aid Servicing Center and put you on the phone with a Financial
Aid Specialist who will complete the process and create an “Estimated Financial Plan”
for you based on your EFC. This Estimated Financial Plan will then be reviewed with you.
If you require additional assistance completing these steps please contact the

We believe in the importance of community involvement and philanthropic
initiatives. Therefore, we host many charity events every year to raise money for
local non-profit organizations. Below are some of the events we have
participated in and created.
Fashion Shows/Events:
APS Cheer/Dance Competitions
As official sponsor of the APS Athletic Department, the future professionals of
TONI&GUY provided mini manicures, make-up applications, and updos at the
local cheer and dance competitions. There were over 100 high schools that
competed in the NMAA Spirit Championship. It took place at the Santa Ana
Star Center in Rio Rancho
Rock the Ink
A semi-annual tattoo convention that features tattoo artists, rockabilly, pin-up
and gothic wear and an array of stage shows including the Miss Rock the Ink
Pageant. Students help style the contestants’ makeup and hair to create each
of the three looks they must present. Students also offer hair and makeup styling
for the attending guests.
UPublicTV The Morning Brew
We have teamed up with a local televised morning show to offer make-up and
hair services to hosts and show guests. This is a great opportunity for T&G
students to get experience working in a television studio as well as networking
with local community members.
Girl’s Night Out at The Melting Pot
We team up with our local Melting Pot Restaurant several times a year for
various Girls Night Out events and offer complimentary mini manicures,
hairstyling, and make-up applications for Melting Pot patrons.
Student Soiree
A TONI&GUY exclusive event! Planned, designed, created and executed by the
student body, this avant garde hair show displays the top skills and ideas of all
the attending students. Based around a show theme groups of students work
together to create a breathtaking fashion show experience
Mom’s Night Out
Students provided mini manicures and make-up applications at Cottonwood
Mall in celebration of Mother’s Day.

Fashion Show showcasing the newest trends in hair and fashion with proceeds
benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Held at Envy Night Club in
Route 66 Casino Hotel. The only Hair Academy invited to participate with other
area salons.
Volcano Vista HighSchool Fashion Show
A group of T&G students provided hair and make-up services to the VVHS
Fashion Club’s Homecoming fashion show featuring the latest styles of formal
wear.
Duke City Darlings Fashion Show
T&G students provided hair and make-up services for the Duke City Darlings
fashion show at ABQ Uptown shopping center.
Urban Trash Charity Fashion Show
This annual event allows the our students to exercise their creativity by not only
showcasing the latest avant garde hairstyles and make-up techniques on local
models, but the students also construct the apparel from recyclable materials.
Conceptflux Media Music Video Shoot
Local actors and models came to the T&G ABQ Academy for hair and make-up
services to prepare for their music video shoot.
A Peaceful Habitation Fashion Show
We provided hair services to models participating in a fashion show benefiting A
Peaceful Habitation, an organization offering support, services and hope for
recently paroled women.
Santa Fe Fashion Week
The future professionals of TONI&GUY provided hair and make-up services for
models and designers for a weekend of fashion at Buffalo Thunder Resort for
Santa Fe Fashion Week.
Santa Fe Community College Fashion Show
After the success of Santa Fe Fashion Week, the future professionals of
TONI&GUY were asked to provide hair and make-up services for the Santa Fe
Community College Fashion Show.
Kirtland Air force Base Airmen and Family Readiness Spouse Appreciation Day
Kirtland AFB transports T&G students to the base to offer complimentary mini
manicures, hairstyling, and make-up services to military spouses.
UNM International Club Fashion Show
T&G students created avant garde hair and make-up looks for over 30 models
participating in a university fashion show.

Design Team Challenge
T&G students were given a specific criteria challenging them to create hair and
make-up looks in Bridal, Pin Up, and Avant Garde categories. They were given
time limits and non-traditional materials to incorporate into the various looks.
Friends, family and community members were invited to the event held at the
Academy.
MDA Lock-Up
Each year community members participate in a fundraiser to raise money for
the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The T&G students provide mini manicures
at this annual event to participants and guests.
Atrisco Heritage High School (First Senior Prom 2012)
We provided beauty tips and demonstrations at the high school. We designed
to give students the advice and information to prepare for the prom. We also
booked appointments to style their hair and applied makeup for the actual
prom day.
Bridal Shows
We provided hair and make-up for models showcasing the latest trends in bridal
fashions at the convention center Bridal Fashion Show. This event was
sponsored by 93.3 KKOB FM.
Alfred Angelo Bridal Event
T&G students were invited to demonstrate bridal updos at our local Alfred
Angelo Bridal Boutique during one of their bridal events.
Philanthropic Efforts:
Ronald McDonald House Girl’s Night Out
We offered mini manicures, make-up applications, braiding and up-dos, to over
900 women who participated in the Girl’s Night Out Event at the Hard Rock
Hotel. All proceeds benefited New Mexico’s Ronald McDonald House Charity
which provides a temporary home away from home for families with ill or injured
children being cared for at an Albuquerque medical facility.
Alzheimers Association Dancing Stars Gala
T&G students provided Hair and Make up services to all celebrity dancers at The
Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town for the “Dancing Stars” to raise money for
Alzheimer’s Association. All proceeds benefited Heritage Home Healthcare &
Hospice.

Albuquerque Rescue Mission
We provided haircuts to the homeless and to families whom are seeking to find
employment and change their lifestyle for the better.
United Court of the Sandias
TONI&GUY teamed up with the local charity, United Court of the Sandias, to
provide haircuts and color services to local families in need.
Cuts for Cans-Annual
We offered a free shampoo, haircut, and style to clients who brought in nonperishable items. In spirit of the season of giving, we accepted ten canned
food items in exchange for this free service. All canned food items were
donated to the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico.
Celebrity Waiter’s Dinner
This annual event brings together Albuquerque’s most influential residents to
help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. We donated items for the silent auction and
also provided mini manicures and hand and arm massages for guests. Our
fabulous owner won best Waiter for 2009 and 2010 and raised the most money.
St. Baldricks
Our students were featured on the Channel 4 news to inform New Mexico of the
St Baldricks event which encourages volunteers to shave their heads for children
with cancer.
Locks of Love
We encourage clients to donate to the Locks of Love foundation which provides
wigs for children with Cancer. TONI&GUY offers free haircuts to clients who
donate their hair to this charitable cause.
Catholic Charities
Our students provided haircut services to the agency, which provides people
with help in getting interviews and employment opportunities to help them get
on their feet for professional job placement.
