A limited number of Northeast Alliance Dissertation Fellowships will be available for students who realistically expect to finish their PhDs within the academic year and who have participated actively in
NEAGEP/IMSD program activities during their graduate careers.
These awards are for one year only and the student must be exclusively engaged in completion of the degree, have passed comprehensive exams, have filed a dissertation proposal/prospectus, and have an approved dissertation committee appointed by the Graduate Dean at the time of nomination.
Each Dissertation Fellowship nomination packet should include:

NEAGEP/IMSD Dissertation Fellowship nomination form

A personal statement by the student that outlines the year-long plan and indicates how the fellowship will help with the timely completion of the Ph.D.

Letter of recommendation from the student’s advisor
Nomination packets should be submitted to Dr. Heyda Martinez, 524 Goodell.
