➢ Move Crew
■ I would like to give a quick recognition of the work you all do here on
campus. Many years ago I was a fraternity president as well as an IFC
president so I am well aware of how important what you all do, so thank
you.
■ I want to just give a quick overview of Move Crew which will be held on
Thursday, August 20, 2015. I will hand out fliers and you can take one or
one per chapter whatever you would like.
■ We have learning communities and recognized student organizations that
assist us each year with moving in students into the residence halls.
■ A difference in the process next year is that Lot 13 goes away so the only
entrance to Crawford will be the back entrance so we will need to work on
not holding traffic up on that hill. There will just be three zones that we will
use as unloading areas for students.
■ If your chapter is participating I need to know some information from you.
That information includes your chapters contact as the coordinator for
this, the number of individuals participating, t-shirt sizes (just list how
many smalls, mediums, etc), and if individuals will be living on campus so
they are able to move in the day before. I do not need to know their
names, just numbers.
■ I will meet with the coordinator from your chapter to walk through a few
items and to give them the t-shirts the day before or a few days before
Move Crew.
■ I would like to know all of this information by May 29, 2015.
❖ Student Room Information
➢ If there is information that you would like us to put in student rooms we need to
know by August 6, 2015.
➢ Last years numbers were about 2,900 students in the residence halls or 1,459
different rooms. It is pretty close to a 50% split between genders so if you are
looking to just put something in rooms with females split the numbers in half and
that should be about good.
➢ If it is something that a specific chapter or panhellenic would like to give out we
can do that you just need to let me know and get the products or information to
us by August 6, 2015.

Unfinished Business:
❖ Panhellenic Council Constitution
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would entertain a motion to open the floor for
discussion on the Panhellenic Council Constitution. Alpha Chi Omega Delegate
(Kacey Slattery): So moved. Second by Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela
Bordewick).
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): We talked about it and the part that
changed and we thought that it would discourage girls from running for the junior
delegate with the portion that expressed that the junior delegate should be
chosen as the delegate the following year.
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): We thought all of it looked
good.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): We also thought it looked good.
➢ Sigma Sigma Sigma Jr. Delegate (Rachael Grooms): No discussion. Snaps.
➢ President (Brianna Werner) Seeing no more discussion we will move into a hand
vote to pass the Panhellenic Constitution as is.
■ Motion passed with a 3-1 vote.
❖ Recruitment T-Shirt Discussion
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would entertain a motion to discuss the recruitment
t-shirts. Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): So moved. Second by
Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu).
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): We talked about it and
decided that we liked the idea of having a panhellenic wide recruitment t-shirt for
bid day with the new members receiving a shirt with their new chapters on it.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): We think it would be a good idea to
show unity but we would prefer to do our own individual shirts.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): It is in our new member handbook
to do a new member t-shirt so we would prefer that each chapter does our own
individual t-shirts.
➢ Sigma Sigma Sigma Jr. Delegate (Rachael Grooms): We thought it would be
good to do individual t-shirts as when you get so many new members during fall
recruitment until you get to know them it is harder to distinguish what chapter
they are in so when they are walking around campus in their new chapter t-shirts
you know and can say hi to them.
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): We are good either way and
would accept doing individual t-shirts as well.
➢ President (Brianna Werner) Seeing no more discussion we will move into a hand
vote to pass each chapter having individual recruitment t-shirts.
■ Motion passed with a 4-0 vote.
❖ Reveal Discussion
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would entertain a motion to discuss reveal. Alpha
Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): So moved. Second by Alpha Chi
Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery).
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): We liked the idea from a few
years ago. We did not think that ten minutes is long enough with the new
members though.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): The majority of the chapter does
not know the old version of reveal so they decided that they decided to go with
how we have done it the past two years.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): We agree keeping it focused on the
new members like the old way and that we would also like to do it longer than ten
minutes.
➢ Sigma Sigma Sigma Jr. Delegate (Rachael Grooms): We agree with Alpha
Sigma Alpha and Gamma Phi Beta.
➢ Vice President of Recruitment (Molly Polzin): We can do it longer than ten
minutes I was just spitting numbers as an idea.
➢ President (Brianna Werner): Seeing no more discussion we will vote on doing
reveal where the new members are revealed to the chapters first like previously
done a few years ago by hand vote.
■ Motion passed with a 3-1 vote.
New Business:
❖ Model Scholarship Program
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would open the floor for discussion on the Model
Scholarship Program. Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): So moved.
Second by Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick).
➢ Vice President of Member Development and Education (Kammie Beyer): I’m just
going to scroll through this and it will be attached to the minutes. It is supposed to
be used as a resource for the scholarship and education chairs.
■ It is basically a lot of suggestions that i have compiled from other
scholarships that i have looked at throughout the semester. I did not
include anything about sanctions or penalties because I am confident that
each chapter has your own plans set on that.
➢ No discussion. This will be put on the website.
