a busy month for everyone with initiations, senior weeks, and preparing for final exams.

➢ Please do not be afraid to utilize this resource on campus. You can even talk to a
counselor about concerns you have in regards to a friend.
Unfinished Business:
❖ Circle of Sisterhood Panhellenic Philanthropy
➢ President Brianna Werner entertained a motion to take CIrcle of Sisterhood from
the table to discuss.
■ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick) so moved. Second by
Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery).
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): Do we know more about what
we would be doing?
➢ Vice President of Community Service (Alex Simonieg): Each chapter would have
an ambassador so each chapter would have a say in what activities we would do.
➢ John Bulcock: What is circle of sisterhood?
➢ Vice President of Community Service (Alex Simonieg): It is a non-profit
organization founded and powered by sorority women on a mission to raise
financial resources to help remove education barriers for girls and women facing
poverty and oppression.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): Do we have an estimated date,
month, or semester that the event would take place?
➢ Vice President of Community Service (Alex Simonieg): The first event would take
place this Fall.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): I took it back to our chapter and we
got a really positive outlook from showing them the video. I think we could maybe
start out small and then grow with it.
➢ President Brianna Werner: You know have two options if there is no more
discussion. We can table it to talk to your chapters more or we can vote on it.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): I move to make Circle of Sisterhood
our Panhellenic Philanthropy Event for the Fall by hand vote. Second by Alpha
Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery).
■ Motion Passes with a 4-0 vote.
❖ Bylaw Revisions
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would entertain a motion to take the bylaws from
the table to discuss the revisions.
■ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikeala Bordewick): So moved. Gamma
Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): Second.
➢ Vice President of Conduct Review (Briona Thomson): The bylaws will be
attached to the minutes. All of the changes are in red.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): Do the fines for recruitment get
charged to the chapter or the individual?
■ Vice President of Recruitment (Molly Polzin): The chapter will get the fine,
but then it is up to them if they want to charge the specific individual or
the chapter will pay for it.
➢ John Bulcock: In the Vice President of Member Development and Education
description I would strive the sentence about conducting the ED talks at All
Greeks since this is still new and being worked on to implement.
■ The delegates were all in favor of deleting that addition.
➢ President (Brianna Werner): Is there a difference between an infraction or an
incident report?
■ John Bulcock: An infraction spells out who can fill it out by NPC; wheras
an incident report can be filled out by anyone. If i get an incident report,
the spelled out individuals able to complete an infraction form then use
that information to fill out the actual infraction form for NPC.
■ NPC is very specific about the infraction form and who can complete it.
➢ President (Brianna Werner): When it says judicial hearing how severe does that
mean? Would that include information about recruitment fractions made by Pi
Rho Chis?
■ Vice President of Conduct Review (Briona Thomson): If a chapter
receives an NPC infraction then yes, that would be included, but not
individual infractions made by Pi Rho Chis or individuals..
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I would entertain a motion to table the bylaws until
next week to bring these changes back to your chapters.
■ So moved by the Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick).
Second by the Sigma Sigma Sigma Delegate (Haylee Sieben).
● Motion passes with a 4-0 vote.
New Business:
❖ 2015 Greek Awards Criteria
➢ Each delegate recieved the criteria that was put together by the community
representatives from different chapters.
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I entertain a motion to discuss the proposed criteria
for the Greek Awards.
■ So moved by the Sigma Sigma Sigma Delegate (Haylee Sieben). Second
by the Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick).
➢ Vice President of Council Mangement (Nikki Kramer): There will be two judges
that will evaluate every category in the awards notebook. If judges do not agree
about whether or not a chapter has sufficiently documented a level of
achievement, the average of the resultant scores shall be considered.
Sufficiently proving that they have met criteria is the sole responsibility of the
chapters applying for awards. Judges will not work together.
■ Separate from judging presentations based upon pre-determined
categories, scores of which are averaged, the panel of three judges will
be asked to simply rank chapters in the order in which they believe the
chapters should be named “Chapter of the Year.” They will be asked to
consider both the presentation and the results of the judging of the
Chapter Achievement Awards. The rankings will only be used if a tie
score has been reached after the previous methods mentioned.
■ There is a Purple Circle Category which is the standards that should be
met by the chapters. There is also a Gold Circle Category which is a step
further and goes a little beyond the standard expectations. In order to
receive Purple Circle, a chapter must complete the entire application and
in each of the seven categories not missed more than one criteria. In
order to receive Gold Circle, a chapter must complete all criteria in all
seven categories of the Purple Circle and then not have missed more
than one criteria in each of the Gold Circle categories.
■ To apply for Chapter of the Year, a chapter must have at least completed
5 of the 7 Purple Circle criteria.
➢ John Bulcock: It is very important that both councils adopt the same packet so if
any changes are proposed please communicate that to the ICF chapters.
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I entertain a motion to table the Greek Awards
Criteria until next week.
■ So moved by the Sigma Sigma Sigma Delegate (Haylee Sieben). Second
by the Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu).
● Motion passes with a 4-0 vote.
❖ Order of Omega Day of Service Event in April
➢ President Brianna Werner: I entertain a motion to discuss the Order of Omega
Day of Service Event in April.
■ Sigma Sigma Sigma Delegate (Haylee Sieben): So moved. Second by
Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick)
➢ Vice President of Council Management (Nikki Kramer): Order of Omega
Headquarters would like each Chapter to sponsor a "Day of Service" on their
campus as a Greek Wide Community. The following options were discussed at
the Order of Omega meeting. We wanted to get your opinion on what the
chapters would like to participate in since this would be a Greek Wide community
service event.
➢ Collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald Housing
■ We could have the water jugs used for coin drives in the Greek Office the
entire month of April for chapters to add pop tabs too. We would then
donate them all to the Ronald McDonald House.
➢ Armed Forces Service Project
■ We could do care packages or write letters to send to them and maybe
even collaborate with the Veterans RSO.
➢ Clothing Drive during Greek Week
■ This would just be sponsored by Order of Omega and be done as usual
during Greek Week. The clothes get donated to the Salvation Army.
➢ Please talk to your chapters and get their idea on what they would like to
participate in. Keep in mind that we already do the clothing drive for Greek Week
so doing one of the other two options would give you another opportunity for
more community service hours.
➢ Sigma Sigma Sigma Delegate (Haylee Sieben): We could have the chapters rank
the service ideas one to three on what they would most like to participate in since
they will probably enjoy doing all three of these options.
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): I think the best options for us
would be the clothing drive or pop tabs service activity since our calendar is
booked solid in the month of April and these both take minimum planning and
time, just donation of items.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): I agree with Alpha Sigma Alpha
Delegate. We are extremely busy in April. Maybe we could do the armed forces
service project in the Fall semester.
➢ Gamma Phi Beta Delegate (Tiffany Maunu): I also agree with the delegates of
Alpha Sigma Alpha and Alpha Chi Omega.
➢ Alpha Chi Omega Delegate (Kacey Slattery): Do you know how much the pop
tabs would be?
■ Vice President of Council Management (Nikki Kramer): They receive the
going rate for aluminum, which changes as the demand changes varying from rates of 23 to 52 cents per pound on any given period. They
average about 450 pounds every 10 days, or approximately $234.
● Fun Fact: Every penny helps families stay at the House -- $10
pays for one family for one night!
➢ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): I move to table the service
idea until next week. Second by Sigma Sigma Sigma (Haylee Sieben).
■ Motion passes with a 4-0 vote.
❖ Reallocation of Recruitment Funds
➢ President (Brianna Werner): I entertain a motion to discuss the reallocation of
recruitment funds for Pi Rho Chi name tags.
■ Alpha Sigma Alpha Delegate (Mikaela Bordewick): So moved. Second by
Alpha Chi Omega Delegate.
➢ Vice President of Recruitment (Molly Polzin): We did not use the $75 allocated
for the Spring Sorority Social and we did not use the full amount for the Fall
Sorority Social either. I would like to use this money to get name tags for the Pi
Rho Chis that they can use during tabling, Greek 101s, and recruitment
weekend. Each name tag is $8 a piece so it would be a total of $88.
■ No Discussion.
■ Motion passes with a 3-1 vote.
