Methodology:
For calculating the Particulate matter generated from
burning of trash following Data was used…
1.The Total Area under Roads per ward office.
2.The average road length is 1.95 km /sq.km. of area
(source IRDP survey report P.M.C. Road dept.)
3.it was assumed that the roads were four laned ones and
the width of the lanes is 3.5m.
4.the emission factor was taken from/based on ARB
Unpaved road dust method.

Total Emission = 421.3 tons/year.
