requesting your cooperation in the removal of

To protect the child by removal with a court order granting custody to CP&P.
To protect the child by emergency removal without a court order, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 9:6-8.29.
The Division will be giving notice of this removal to the child’s parent(s) or guardian.
CP&P is required by law to conduct an investigation of the circumstances leading to, and resulting in, the
child’s injury or condition. On the basis of that investigation, CP&P will determine whether further
action is warranted to ensure the child’s safety. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
