A concentrated investigation of selected topics of an advanced nature. The content will be determined jointly by the instructor and the student.
III.
Justification
As our MAT students already have a background in biology, the
opportunity to take work with a faculty member on a directed study project
is valuable in that it will broaden their knowledge base. This will also
provide more flexibility in the MAT curriculum and will help ensure the
timely completion of the degree program.
